Our fourth stay in this small B&B. Lovely cooked breakfast (as usual), comfortable large room, lovely quiet and private. As this is a working pottery we have now invested in a new teapot and mugs. Thanks Mike & Shelagh.

Didn't stay at the B&B but it looked beautiful, and I intend to arrange a weekend there so. We went to try our hand on the pottery wheel (8 ladies for a hen weekend). Great fun, not hurried at all, excellent teacher, and we produced some, er, interesting pieces. Before this, we had lunch there and the food was fantastic.... More

Cannot contradict any of the nice comments made here. We'll be back if not earlier then at least next year. Food is great, beds are very comfy (and we're very picky), the milk is fresh and in a jug (not those vile little tubs), welcome is great. I don't think I've ever been in a better B & B.

This was a first time for me travelling alone after losing my husband and it could not have been better - comfort, friendliness, a wonderful welcome, superb food and no extra charge for being alone - you could not wish for better, excellent.

What a fabulous, warm and relaxing venue. We had our special day at the Pottery and it felt we were among friends. Sheila and Tracey did a wonderful job on the food and the room was dressed lovely. All the food was eaten with an age group of 6yr old to 81yrs we had a fantastic night thank you.

I've just had my 60th Birthday Party at the wonderful Much Wenlock Pottery. Everyone had a lovely time from aged 1 year to ???!! The plentyful food was outstanding ( not a scrap left, most people having seconds!!!) Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Much Wenlock Pottery to anyone who is looking for a stress-free, happy party.

Many people run B&Bs but few get it so right. How wonderful to stay somewhere that makes you feel so welcome the minute you arrive as if you had known them ages. This working pottery has 3 rooms- the double upstairs is huge with a wonderful wood burning stove. A glass of wine as you pour out of your car... More

On a short walking holiday, I had the good fortune to select this B & B. Shelagh made me feel very welcome, A well furnished and large room, very comfortable bed, and a great breakfast. Very restful too, as it's in a quiet lane. I hope to return in the near future with friends when we do the Shropshire Way..

I've been returning to Much Wenlock as this is my home town and I visit or celebrate with friends a few times a year - I repeatedly try to stay with Shelagh & Mike at the potteries as it's a perfect place to rest. Rooms are large and very comfortable - clean and beautifully decorated. Beds particulary cozy and power... More

This is a very good and unusual B&B. The spacious, comfortable and very well appointed room is in a block of apartments next to the Much Wenlock pottery, and the owner is the potter himself who will happily show you how the pots are made. Breakfast is served in the pottery showroom. The breakfast was excellent and the host very... More
