I really liked this little place. Being honest if you are after posh then this isn't the place for you but for us it was exactly what we wanted. Lovely staff, great breakfast, basic but perfectly good enough facilities, wonderful shower, tea facilities and a wardrobe/draws. There is road noise but that would be due to it being on a...

We stayed at The Plume of Feathers for 2 nights. The people who run it (I presume?) seemed a little distant and not as friendly as they could be. Waitresses lovely! Place very clean and tidy and attractive. Room was nice apart from nowhere to put things in the bathroom and double bed wasn't that comfortable for me being a...

Travelling in the area, stopped one evening for a meal. Turned out to be a wonderful choice. Very welcoming staff, excellent service, superb food and the presentation was simply outstanding. Highly recommend to all.

This Hotel is in a great location for touring Shropshire. Set in majestic hills with the mighty River Severn for those long country walks. The pub is immaculately clean. Comfy beds. Staff are warm and friendly. They host a good English full breakfast. Evening meals are a little expensive, but considering you get half a carafe of wine included it...

We had a lovely room with a beautiful country view. The room was clean and tidy very light and bright. The breakfast included in stay was wonderful, and the evening meals a delight and priced very competitively, the home made leek and potato soup just amazing. I would come back here without a doubt.

We booked this pub on a special offer as we were taking our grandchildren to Blist Hill Museums, Ironbridge. We were given an en suite, spacious family room (double bed + two full size singles). The room was newly decorated. The en suite was older but also nicely decorated and very clean. Shower was powerful. Beds were comfortable and a...

we stopped here for one night and one night wasn't a good night, we had a twin room on the ground floor and the noise from the room above was like a herd of elephants. the room was grubby, dirty marks on the valence of the bed as if the washing had dragged the ground when on line and nobody...

Very disappointed. It is on a very busy main road, so you are kind of stuck there if you want to have a drink, you can't walk into Much Wenlock for example. First impressions of the pub were that it is very nice, and the gentleman on duty when we arrived was very pleasant and helpful. Then we were shown...
