We have just spent a couple of days in between Xmas and New Year in the Granary Room(The Loft) at Hopton House. It was a luxurious break and the room was a beautiful hideaway with lots of extra little touches. Bath by stars and candlelight, delicious homemade cake and biscuits and a silent fridge to keep our wine and ludlow...

Sarah Thank you for taking the time to review Hopton House. I am glad you enjoyed your new year break and especially the mini muffins! I'm sorry the weather wasn't kinder to you and hope you'll come back & visit us when it is not quite so wet. Best wishes Karen

Believe the reviews. You'd be hard pressed to find a finer B&B in England: Lovely location; beautifully presented & comfortable accommodation; delicious food; friendly & professional hospitality; and attention to detail. Deserves all the accolades. Thank you, Karen. We hope to return to Hopton House and have already highly recommended it to discerning friends. Stevie & David, Oct 2011

We stayed at Hopton House in October and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is wonderfully quiet but the ‘bright lights’ of Ludlow are within easy reach. The facilities are excellent in all respects and every bit as good as they appear to be on the web-site. Lots of extra care and attention has been given to many details which help...

My partner and I had a really enjoyable and relaxed stay with Karen at Hopton House. The Granary Room was beautifully comfortable and the bed enormous! Well furnished, with everything you need, including a corkscrew! Breakfast was delicious and the local butcher's bacon and 'snags', the very best! Quiet, relaxed and great views. Highly recommended. Thanks Karen.

First class accommodation in a beautiful rural setting. We stayed in the Paddock Room which was truly beautiful with views across hills. It's the attention to detail too which makes Hopton House a must if you're visiting South Shropshire - the room was furnished with chocolates, home-made cake and biscuits, and cafetiere coffee. The home cooked breakfasts are to die...

There is no doubt from the reviews and from our personal experience that this is a top class Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are lovely, the welcome genuine and the breakfast first class. It is in a beautiful countryside setting in Shropshire. I don't really have much to add, although if you don't like it too hot at night I...

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and leaving such nice feedback on Hopton House. I’m sorry you found the loft room uncomfortable at night. It’s the first time anyone has mentioned this to us. We normally find that, having stayed in the loft room once, our guests book that room again for their next visit, as,...

We stayed in the Paddock room for two nights in August 2011 and wish we could have stayed longer. The view from the balcony was just breathtaking, it was so peaceful sitting there watching the hens roaming the garden that we had to drag ourselves away to explore the beautiful Shropshire countryside! This has to be the best B&B we...

Have just returned from Hopton House as couldn't think if anywhere better to stay for our anniversary. This was our 2nd trip and was just as amazing as the first time. We booked Hopton House to wind down after the excitement of our daughters wedding and everything was just perfect. We stayed in the Barn room with it's huge comfy bed and luxurious bathroom and didn't really want to stray much further than the private patio where the occasional chicken would pop round to see us. The location is so tranquil...
