... that's where we fell in love with Birches Mill. How else to say it? Countless reviews spell it out... the peaceful valley, the timeless mill, the walks, decor that combines country comfort with style, splendid breakfasts(not forgetting the kippers) and that gurgling river that is the backdrop to everything. But here's how it was special for us. We were...

Just a great place with great hosts. Everything was just so. It is a really peaceful surround with great views and a reall feel good factor. The owners Giil and Andrew were so accomodating and was always available to give sound advice on where to eat locally and places to visit. If youget the chance, you have to stay here.

Set in glorious countryside with rolling hills and walks in every direction with hosts that make your stay comfortable and memorable in every way. This is a picture-perfect country cottage tucked deep in a beautiful little valley. We loved the home cooked meals delivered to our door by Andrew each evening, long walks in stunningly beautiful countryside, and the wide selection of real ales on offer in every village. The hospitality is warm but unobtrusive, and the accommodation up to a very high standard...

I have just spent a long weekend in the Miller's House self catering cottage attached to Birches Mill B&B. It's an idyllic spot made for rest, relaxation and a great base for exploring the surrounding Shropshire countryside. Whether you venture out on foot along along the many walks, some starting right from the front door, or take the car to...

Indeed, there is great walking country right on the doorstep. We stayed seven nights bed and breakfast. Our room was splendidly comfortable and decorated to a high standard with attention to detail regarding linen and supplied toiletries. The visitors'...

Spent 3 nights here in July. It was a delightful place to stay....really comfortable and beautifully decorated. Gill and Andrew were delightful hosts and looked after us so well. Lovely to be able to walk out of the front door and go for wonderful walks nearby on the Shropshire Way. Plenty to see and do locally so it is a...

Birches Mill is tucked away in a quiet Shropshire valley close to Clun. The setting is idyllic - by a stream and overlooking the countryside with great walking country on your doorstep. Pubs are available in both Clun and Bishops Castle - both just a couple of minutes drive. The interior has been renovated to the highest standard of comfort...

Having had such a delightful stay at this beautiful B & B a few weeks ago we booked again as our base to stay while walking the Shropshire Way. Giill and Andrew are so welcoming and their attention to detail from the luxurious bed linen and toileteries to the prettily furnished rooms make their B & B stand out from...

As part of our planning to do the Coast to Coast walk, I'd rung and booked one night at Birches Mill well ahead of time, paid the deposit, and finally we were there. Hey, it was a little hard to find in the early afternoon as the Tourist Information people were closed, and the people we stopped to ask for...
