We spent 2 nights here with a wowcher offer. Our room was a bit shabby and VERY creaky but ok and a comfy bed. We had a 3 course meal on our first night which was actually pretty decent. The bar was very quiet as I think the main customer base is 50+ but that doesn't matter. It's not that...

Booked this hotel directly after seeing it on Wowcher 3 nights £149 they price matched it over the phone with a 3 course evening meal with a bottle of wine on the first night. Room 10 is big and newly carpeted and with a comfortable king size bed. There are very low beams and a very low window with no...

The old Public House building is quaint with uneven floors and low, beamed ceilings. There are 19 rooms, some of them are arranged as terraced cottages along the side of the car park, parallel to the road and at right angles to the old building, The rooms are looking tired and really need a make over. The plumbing is questionable,...

We stopped at this pub for lunch whilst on a short break in Shropshire, it is a sheer delight, ones imagination of the old English put. Ingle nook fire gate and brasses all kept in beautiful condition by what must be very proud owners. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We only had a sandwich but that was great and...

We booked all the rooms at the Crown Inn for two nights as a family wedding reception was being held very close by. Simon the manager was great and very helpful, as were all the staff. We received fantastic service, the evening meal and breakfasts were very good. The rooms vary in size but were very comfortable and suited our...

This was our first visit to the Crown Inn at Hopton Wafers. We had a 3 night stay and evening meal with a Living Social voucher. This is a 16th Century Coaching Inn and the older part of the Inn has the obligatory creaking floorboards and old beams. We stayed in room 11 overlooking the rear of the building. The...

Bought a 2 night deal with evening meal on the first night. Set in a beautiful location. Simon the hotel manager is an excellent example of good customer service. Simon is friendly, accommodating and the font of knowledge, he is an asset to the Crown Inn. Food is nice, its pub food nothing fancy and reasonably priced. This hotel is...

Nice large bedroom with fabulous en suite bathroom with wetroom attached. Very comfortable shower. Huge bed perfect for us just what we were looking for. Plenty of space to hang clothes and store items. We went for a short drive after dinner and we stunned to fall on Clee Common which we really weren't expecting fantastic panoramic views.

This is a quaint village pub with plentiful car parking & great open views. Staff are extremely friendly & helpful offering a warm welcome. Food is great & is of generous proportions. We stayed in a pretty room in the main pub area complete with original beams & full of character. A super 16th century coaching pub with character &...
