If you ever get the opportunity to visit the tea room at the Courthill centre it's a must, my wife and I called in midweek for lunch and I have to say the location, service and food is incredible, the lady who served us was amazing so polite, courteous and certainly made us feel welcome and special... if for no...

A group of 12 friends stopped here on a Thursday morning, for a break on our countryside journey on motorbikes. As it was a cold day it was nice to get warm again. we had cups of tea/coffee with a slice of cake & biscuits. The service we received was first class, plus the toilets were clean&tidy. There is also a good carpark area.

We have been coming here for a number of years now. It is always a great to see the fantastic views. Very reasonably priced food and drink. Particularly like the Matilda Cake! Nice friendly staff. A real hidden gem and well worth a visit by any tearoom enthusiast.

Living close we pop up to Courthill quite often. It is a lovely place especially the garden with views for miles over Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. The staff are excellent and go out of there way to serve and please you. The food is good. Cakes are all homemade, not shy with the servings either. Great place to relax and wind...

Lovely stay, very good service from the staff. Excellent breakfasts! Wonderful views! We had a some dinner outside overlooking the scenery, just pure bliss! Beds were comfy, the only thing I would say is that the showers weren't that brilliant and maybe a bit of paint needed in bedrooms. But the lounge/dining room were fantastic!

We found out about this place from the local tourist information website having just moved to the area. Based in Abingdon the Court Hill Centre is about 30 minutes drive towards the town of Wantage. The Ridgeway is 87 miles of path across the Berkshire downs. It just so happens that the Court Hill Centre is the perfect place to...

I have visited the Court Hill Centre Cafe several items recently and had very good coffee, lunches and afternoon tea.The choice of cakes makes it difficult to choose but all are delicious. It is particularly nice on a sunny afternoon when you can sit out in the garden, however on cold winter days there is a wood burner regularly stoked...

We picked up a leaflet at the Wantage tourist board and it looked good. We were not disappointed. It is a hostel for walkers etc. but they have a lovely little café. We had a cake, scone and coffee, all very reasonably priced and good quality. We sat outside and it was lovely and peaceful. We had a short walk...

I arrived soaked after a hard day on the Ridgeway and was instantly given tea and a key to a nice room with a heater. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The fire was put on and I was given a lovely meal of fish and chips, plus a tasty breakfast in the morning. This place...
