The owners are very helpful (scanning and printing out walks for us), the breakfast was the best I've ever had in a B&B, and the decor / room layout is intelligent and modern. The room in the eaves has a great bathroom and a great feel. Really nothing to fault here at all. There's obviously a lot of love and...

We searched high and low for a great little place to stay in the Cotswolds, and we found it! The double room was a mini-apartment in itself, with space to curl up on the couch and read a book. The shower was as great as the reviews said, and after a long day walking, it really helped soothe the sore...

We spent one night at the Moat End for a wedding. Off the main road and very quiet in really lovely grounds. The owners were very welcoming and let us check in early to get ready for the wedding. Although we were told the room was only a small double it was more than big enough. When we checked in...

We have just returned from a large family gathering which meant staying overnight somewhere relatively nearby. Our daughter-in-law found Moat End for us - on the website it appeared to tick all the boxes and she also looked on tripadvisor for reviews. She was absolutely right to send us there! The bouncy labrador was welcomed (and there were walks from...

The breakfast really was fantastic. They were very welcoming even to a wet dog arriving on a rainy Friday night. The sitting room is a real haven we were able to use it as we pleased. Very helpful about the local area and places to walk. Will definitely be back.

My friend and I spent a few days cycling in the Cotwolds, and used Moat End as our base. We couldn't have asked for more - lovely twin room with a jacuzzi bath, even our bikes had a home in the stable! The lovely owners went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after, and gave...

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights after our wedding. I really can't think of a way Moat End could be improved. It's the perfect balance of being really well looked after in a lovely environment with excellent rooms, but also being welcoming and friendly so we really felt at home. Michael & Gwyn went out...

We recently stayed at Moatend and had a wonderful stay. We've been to numerous B&B's in the area and this was by far the friendliest and most welcoming. We were offered cakes by the open fire on arrival and the breakfast was absolutley brilliant. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

We recently stayed at Moat End following the positive reviews on tripadvisor and were not disaapointed. The location was excellent, the breakfasts (made to order) were some of the best I've ever had and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We will definately be returning on my next visit to the Cotswolds. Bob & Eileen Leicester
