This was my second stay at The Kings Head. Like last year, the room was extremely comfortable and provided a really good night's sleep. And, like last year, the food was very good and seemed to have moved up a 'notch' with the inclusion of more local produce. The staff are helpful, efficient and, surprisingly, mainly local. I will be...

Stayed in November 2014. Arriving late afternoon the welcome was okay but not particularly warm. Our room was well appointed but the decor dated I don't expect to clean a toilet when I arrive somewhere but unfortunately I did on this occasion (evidence of previous user). The cleanliness was questionable in several areas and poor in others. I am pleased...

We booked this hotel as a stopover, on a journey from North Yorkshire to Devon. We chose a room overlooking the courtyard, as it was quiet. The bed was really comfortable and a good size with lovely decor. The ensuite was well appointed. Super to wake up in the morning to overlook the beautifully kept gardens. Breakfast was fine and...

We stayed at the King's Head for one night with a big group of friends for a celebration of four of their birthdays. There were 15 of us in the pub and restaurant for the night. We stayed above the pub. The room (No. 5) was tiny and clean but yes, it is noisy with very creaky floors - so...

We stayed for one night midweek at the Kings Head Inn. Having read various reviews we were expecting a great pub and we weren't disappointed. From the moment we arrived the staff were fantastic. We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms, which was a good size, with full size en suite bathroom. We had booked the dinner bed and...

We stayed on a Saturday night and the room and food were lovely, as was the breakfast the next morning. The staff were amazing too, my only complaint was that our room (in the pub) was very noisy (but I had seen other posters mention this and I think their own website also says this), so I'd advise anybody who...

We have just returned from our fourth visit to the Kings Head and what a wonderful Autumn stay it was. Archie and the team were as welcoming as ever and this charming inn still greeted us with character and warmth. The breakfast and evening meals were tasty and plentiful and the comfortable bed gave us four very relaxing nights sleep,...

We recently spent two nights here, having not been for a while. Since our last stay the courtyard has been transformed and looks lovely; sadly we didn't get a chance to sit out there. As always the welcome from the staff was warm and attentive and the room was extremely comfortable and tastefully furnished. I loved the 'Bantam' bathroom products!...

My daughter did the research and booked this inn for the four of us. We loved everything about It. It is totally in tune with the Cotswolds. Our room was right above the restaurant and pub, but since it was during the week, it was not very noisy. The establishment does warn you about staying in one of the three...

We recently visited the Cotswolds for the first time and we were delighted to have been recommended to the Kings Head Inn at Bledington. It acceded our greatest expectations. Not only was the environment totally in tune with the Cotswolds but the rooms with en suites were of the high standard that we would have expected. The dinners and breakfasts...
