An easy-to-find B&B near the M40 junction 10. Beware of this junction, though, it's a bit of a nightmare to negotiate. The B&B offers a number of modern chalets built around a rear farmyard/courtyard to the original Post Office. Parking is available outside each chalet. Chalets are fully equipped with on-suite facilities, central heating, TV, tea/coffee & Wi-Fi and are...

We had a very pleasant one night's stay at the Old Post Office recently. It is conveniently situated for us to break our long journey from Northumberland to the south Coast. We received a warm welcome from Troy who showed us to our room or should I say cabin. It was very comfortable and quiet with modern decor, an en...

My husband and I needed a one night stay in the area. The Old Post Office was a reasonably priced accommodation so we decided to give it ago. What a gem! Lovely B&B with amazing host Barbara and her husband. Great night sleep and can I just say - Breakfast was soo good. Selection of cereal, fruit followed by a...

We stayed at this B&B several times when family lived in that area. It is very comfortable, and any problems were always rectified straight away by the owners. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing, and very good value for money accommodation. Would recommend to any one staying in this area. We actually miss not staying there...

We stayed here while visiting family and must say the chalet although compact was lovely and welcoming and had a cosy atmosphere. The chalets are set in really pretty surroundings and are very peaceful. The room was finished to a nice quality and the bed comfy and the room equipped with all the basics that you'd need from a B&B....

Very friendly atmosphere, lovely rooms, quiet place, and a pub which is a five minute walk away. As far as a wish list is concerned, I can't think of anything. Coming back next week for the 4th or 5th time, and it won't be the last.

My wife and I attended a family party locally, and we stayed at the OPO. This is very well run establishment and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a great set up with everything that's needed. The beds are comfy and warm and the en suite is perfect. It has a very nice location and our...

Stayed with 5 friends whilst watching the Moto GP. I was in one of the wooden chalets. Really comfortable bed, flat screen tv, nice bathroom with ridiculously big shower but the winner for me was the breakfast. A great selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and juices and an excellent cooked breakfast. Couldn't fault it.
