We stayed here for the night as we had heard good reports of the hotel and we have had brilliant meals there previously. We booked via booking.com as it was a cheaper price than going direct. We checked in via a very helpful member of staff and we went to our room. The room itself was a good size, we...

We stayed as part of a wedding party that was going on in the hotel. Whilst the hotel caters for a really good function, and the staff were really helpful there the actual hotel was not up to the standards expected for the money paid. When we booked (online) we were told that the cheapest room that we could get...

This was my 3rd visit here with the family as it's become a firm favourite with the grandparents. Never really thought overly about having a good or bad experience before and didn't get an overly strong impression of being child friendly as the children have been really young in previous visits! However this trip was warm and welcoming and nothing...

We stayed here as we attended a wedding locally. The hotel is very tired and needs up dating. Our room was ok but needed care and attention - on our 1st night we only had 1 towel for two of us. Food is average - the only positive is the service in the restaurant is good. Would not stay again.

I was really disappointed to read this and hope you will accept my sincere apology. We genuinely do want our guests to have a fabulous time, I'm sorry you didn't. I appreciate everyone has their own opinion but I really can't see that the hotel is tired and needs updating we've been doing just that continually for almost 10 years...the...

This is a lovely hotel cleverly combining the old coaching house with new buildings. It appealed to us from the outset. We booked it for our wedding breakfast on 24th September and an overnight stay for most of our guests. The level of service we received from our initial enquiry, during the planning and until the time we checked out...

This place is a find. The food is very good. I have stayed twice and tried the steak pie and now the fish and chips, bothers were excellent and served with courteous, friendly staff.
