With a large car park at the rear, we found this a friendly, comfortable and clean location for very well presented and varied food at a reasonable cost.The range of beers was excellent and well looked after.
Arrived for a 5.30pm family tea. Servers polite and amenable but large proportion of menu unavailable and the subsequent, unexplained 55 minute wait for mains didn't really delight. Experience reminded a couple in our party of pub dining 'customer service' from the 80's!

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting Northumberland. It took a while waiting for someone to come and book us in. The hotel is very clean but rather dated. Staff were helpful but often difficult to find. Selection at the bar was limited. Gardens are delightful.
