Stayed two nights. Was a great value for money spot and we had a gorgeous picture window looking over the sea with two very comfy armchairs to relax in. Breakfast was great (if a little early for us between 8 and 9 - but then we are very lazy on holiday!!). Changed our plans and were accommodated very easily by...

We were not too certain about staying here when booking it, at such a awesome price that included breakfast BUT we really enjoyed our stay !! Jim was at the door to greet us with a friendly smile ! The en suite room we booked was very comfortable and very very clean, yes as someone says the décor is dated,...

Our room at the Roxburgh inn was lovely. The seaview was great and we really enjoyed watching the sunrise from our bay window. Jim and Eileen were lovely hosts and were very accommodating. Even though our room wasn't ensuite, we had a private bathroom facility.

Untidy external appearance. Unlike photos. Damp smell inside. Entrance and Service Areas including dining room require tiding, cleaning and declutter. Bedroom appear okay however ensuite fitted with vent-flow toilet and fan is noisy and goes on for ages. Smell on guest towels. Very nice host serving breakfast. Food was very good

Booked at short notice for bank holiday Sunday for my parents, as they were stopping off on the way to Scotland. They say their room was delightful, breakfast was excellent. The hosts were so friendly, even offered my Mum fresh milk without even being asked. Would definitely recommend this B & B for stop overs on way to Scotland and...

Great seaside b&b. Very friendly clean and welcoming. We have stayed in Berwick before but this was the first time at the Roxborough. The family room overlooking the promenade and sea was excellent it wasn't an en-suite but the en-suite didn't have the sea views I would rather have the sea view. The whole place was clean and lovely. It...

Have stayed in the Roxburgh several times over the years, and love staying here with the lovely hosts Eileen and Jimmy. The seafront location couldn't be handier for the beach and the seaview is truly spectacular - we particularly like the bay windowed first floor room with a private bathroom, which has a bath and shower, and also a convenient...

Reviews appeared positive so we opted for this B&B rather than the travel lodge - we shouldn't have bothered. Immediate concerns were the strong odour of cigarettes on entering. This slowly disappeared as we went up the stairs. The beds were clean but the rooms were basic and in need of total overhaul. Damp in the shower room. The breakfast...

Loved this little place! We opted to stay in the first floor bedroom which doesn't have en suite bathroom, but does have amazing bay windows looking out over the beach and sea front. It does have private use of bathroom across the corridor - literally 4 steps across the landing. The place is quiet and comfortable. We slept really well...
