Visited this establishment midweek as we were given a voucher as a present. The steak was lovely and well cooked pudding was also enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will visit again. The pub was not very busy but I guess that was because it is a bit out of the way.

I've been here before for a lunch earlier in the year which was OK but did not review. I came today for lunch with family. Firstly, the prices are expensive for both drinks and food. The children's menu is expensive at £6 per dish with no drink or pudding included or discount. They advertise puddings on the children's menu at...

A lovely country pub about five mile from Morpeth there were fourteen of us, ten adults and four children they gave us a long table to keep us altogether. It was a good menu and a kids menu. We all just decided on main courses and it was a good idea as the portions were massive. From hunters chicken, hot...

I have previously left positive feedback for this restaurant but not today. We have enjoyed coming to the Dyke Neuk for a long time. Unfortunately today has put me off going back for Sunday lunch. We ordered French onion soup to be served with Running Fox artisan breads... and a baked Camembert for starters. Both arrived and I was immediately...

Booked a double, was given twin with an additional sofa bed, but think it had been put in here out of the way as it was directly in front of mirror and wardrobe doors! Where do I begin... twin beds weren't even a matching pair, cobwebs on walls, light bulb in bathroom with no shade, oil leaking from hinge on...

This is a really nice pub with an attractive, raised, outside seating area overlooking the countryside. A nice place for a drive on a sunny evening. Except if you're driving. £3 for a tiny bottle of non alcoholic becks lager. Really? It's pop for goodness sake.

I was a member of a small walking group of 8 people who had pre-arranged to have our lunch at the Dyke Neuk inn. It was mid-week and not busy and the staff were friendly and efficient. The menu was varied and tempting therefore difficult to make a choice. I think only 2 people had the same main course. I...
