Took off to Holy Island for three nights and some quiet time. We were made wonderfully welcome by Maureen and Geoff Porter who were wonderful hosts. The room was beautiful, clean and well presented. The breakfasts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. And it was good to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Island from this lovely place

We stayed here several years ago, and have just enjoyed another great weekend at this excellent guest house. Geoff & Maureen do everything they possibly can to welcome guests. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a wide selection of items for breakfast, beautifully cooked and extremely tasty. We thoroughly recommend this b & b and can't...

Ideally situated at the start of the village, less than five minutes walk to the pubs and hotels in the centre of the village. Hosts Geoff and Maureen were really helpful, and the breakfast was superb. Room was perfect with stunning views towards the castle. Full marks and 5 stars.

We stayed with Geoff & Maureen, the perfect hosts, at the Bungalow, for two nights in July. Our room was very nicely decorated with comfortable bed and chairs and full en suite facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was in the large dining room with a good choice of cereal, fresh fruit and cooked breakfast, all of which stood us...

My wife and I spent two wonderful days on Lindisfarne, staying both nights with Geoff and Maureen at The Bungalow. The room was beautifully prepared and spotless - both in the bedroom itself and in the adjacent bathroom. We had a wonderful view out towards the castle, and were less than five minutes' walk from the village. And the breakfasts......

Stayed two nights with my grandmother as she's nearly 90 and Lindisfarne has always been on her bucket list. Bungalow had good sized room. My nan couldn't very easily get onto the bed because it was so high - but it was very comfortable. Room was immaculate. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was incredible. Usual buffet of cereals, fruit/yoghurt and cooked...

We spent two nights at The Bungalow. It is on the edge of the village and very quiet (yet only a few minutes walk from the centre). Plenty of parking. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped (including two easy chairs), plenty of storage space, and nicely warm against the chill and exposure of Lindisfarne in March. Maureen had...
