I've stayed three times at the Alannah House, including a long weekend for the Berwick Literary Festival. The central location is great for events at The Maltings Theatre and local restaurants, lovely walks around the town, and only 10 minutes walk from the railway station. There aren't many places in Berwick at a reasonable price for the single traveller, and...

We had come through Berwick Upon Tweed on a day out and decided to make a night of it. We showed up at the Alannah house without a booking - not recommended as we found out since they normally are booked up. Lynn the proprietor was more than happy to accommodate us and gave us a lovely room. The beds...

A centrally located b&b which is owned by a lovely couple who know exactly what visitors need. A large room which has been furnished really tastefully. A good en-suite with lots of accessories you might need. A comprehensive file provides excellent details about facilities such as restaurants in the town with a hand made map too! Although we didn't want...

well, our room was... enormous! And although it's in a central location, no noise so sleep quality was very good. Excellent breakfast, also a very helpful host Ms Lynn who gave us good indications for dinner and our morning walk.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night in September 2016 whilst cycling on the Coast & Castles route. The B&B is clean and comfortable throughout. Our en-suite bedroom was a good size with plenty of hot water and tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. The hosts, Steve and Lynne, were welcoming and...

We ended out Northumberland Coastal walk at Alannah House. The hosts Lynn and Steve were kind and helpful. They had brought our luggage up to our room before we arrived which was a nice treat and they prepared breakfast for us earlier than usual due to an early train the following morning. They had great suggestions for dinner that evening...

We had a lovely stay at Alannah House. Lynn and Steve were lovely hosts and the room was immaculate. The bathroom was spotless and the towels were lovely and soft! We also had gluten free breakfast and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a B&B in Berwick.

This family-run B&B really is a gem! We stayed here only for one night but were overwhelmed by the heplfulness of our hosts who went out of their way to make our stay perfect and memorable. The room was big and clean with everything you could possibly ask for. We were served an excellent breakfast even outside the usual serving...

A friend and I had been walking the Northumberland Coastal Way and finished in Berwick with a stay at this lovely guest house. It is situated in the centre of Berwick and furnished to a high standard. We had a two roomed three beds for the two of us with a super ensuite bathroom with all the "bits" you could...
