Have just returned from 3 days at the Lord Crewe. This is a small hotel in an ideal spot in Bamburgh. The evening meals were excellent both in quality and quantity. The overwhelming impression of our stay was how obliging and helpful all the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return.

Wife and I spent a Saturday night here as a bit of a treat in the gloomy New Year. Room was immaculate, food was well above average and the atmosphere suitably quirky. Service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. The fact that it is a "bit out of the way" just added to the experience.

Lovely food, pleasant surroundings with attentive staff. Good choice of food and drinks in a warm venue. Don't sit next to the door, it can be cold in January. Food was hot and tasty. Unusual choice of vegetables and meat/fish beautifully done. Presentation excellent. Would recommend. 10/10

We enjoyed a lovely short break. The hotel is ideally placed for visits to the sights in the area. It has good facilities, not just in the rooms (tea, coffee, TV, powerful shower, etc.) but also incorporating a restaurant, bar and tea room. The room was comfortable, even in the freezing cold weather of December. There was some noise from... More

Greeted by a very pleasant bar staff and a roaring fire. Got a good seat near to fire and window had a half decent pint. Our lunch was initially delivered to the wrong table. The fish and chips were very ordinary. Mine was huge and greasy my wife's was rather small, over cooked and presented upside down, plus no Pinot... More

We just popped in for lunch. Though I have never stayed at the hotel, I have been on other occasions for lunch. However when we arrived today i could not believe the transformation. It's absolutely lovely, the decor is fab. All the staff were very nice and very importantly of course lunch was excellent

We chose The Lord Crewe for our celebration birthday dinner & what a good choice. The service from Andrew & Yvonne was exceptional, complimenting the delicious food produced by Nigel the chef. Another 1st class experience of dining in Bamburgh.

A lovely place in Bamburgh for an evening meal. Two great menus to choose from and in a good location in the village. Parking is just outside. We all enjoyed our meal and the food was good and well presented. The staff are very welcoming and the log fire is a bonus on cold evenings.
