Very disappointed by our visit - I could not fault the friendliness of the staff however the food was not what you expect from a 2* rosette restaurant. My fish was overcooked and my husbands main of lamb inedible. Also I like taking some time throughout my meal but being rushed from amuse bouche to desert in half an hour...

Serendipity! We were in Hobbit 2, one of what was more or less a self-contained cottage, and one where we could leave our...

Bank holiday weekend, two night stay in one of the "Hobbit" rooms - good size, nice bathroom and very comfortable. All the staff were welcoming and helpful and the food was incredible. A little pricey, but definitely worth it for a short break

We recently returned from a 2 night stay in this delightful small hotel, staying in the Duchess room with a view of the beautiful gardens and having its own balcony. The hotel has an old world charm with an interesting history. The dining room is very traditional and our breakfasts and evening meals were excellent. All the staff we came...
