I used this hotel to visit family in Northumberland. The hotel is unlike other Premier Inns I have used in that it sits on the side of a lovely lake full of wildfowl. The sunsets are truly glorious. The staff were exceptionally helpful to me when I needed help to find the nearest petrol station. Beds up to the usual... More

Our room was overlooking the lake,as it was wintertime there was a covering of frost all around and the swans and duck were wandering round. We will def go back in the summertime to admire the view again. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay. The attached pub had a lovely atmosphere, the range of food and drinks was very... I was very disappointed to have a room which really stunk of cigarettes. When I spoke to reception they were unable to move me as they were full. I slept in the room and was reimbursed with my money the next morning with no quibbles.staff were very apologetic and pleasant. Room was up to the expected standard of cleanliness apart... More

We had booked two rooms for an overnight stay at Ashington and it was my birthday on that weekend. My partner rang to ask if he could have flowers delivered to Ashington. Adele not only gave him a number of a local florist, but because it was my birthday she ensured that our two rooms were overlooking the lake -... More

Hotel is set on a lake so beautiful views, lovely walk. Hotel is very clean, comfortable and staff have great customer service. Restaurant attached to hotel has kids soft play area and an out door park which is fully secure. Nice selection of food and drinks. Definitely recommend this premier inn and will be staying again soon.

Stayed for two nights last weekend. Booked in August and got a superb room rate. Room was large clean and a comfy bed. The only issue was with the ultimate wi-fi ,would not recommend purchasing it ,as it dropped out in the middle of a live rugby match! Adjoining Brewers fayre was ok. Nice view and quiet

Ashington Premier Inn is in a remote location with very little in the way of local amenities. Sited on the edge of a large lake used by anglers and with bird wildlife. Your own transport is essential and the hotel has a very large, free car park. There is a small outdoor playground for young children and an indoor play... More
