We found The Bondgate Boutique while looking for somewhere to stay while travelling up to Edinburgh. As we were arriving past 6pm Leo called me to let me know all the details to get in. We were upgraded to one of the bigger rooms which was really lovely. The room itself was perfect and had everything we needed. Couldn't fault...

My husband and I spent a night here whilst visiting the area. Check-in was efficient and friendly and the room was stylish, well-maintained and spotlessly clean, with everything provided for our comfort. We booked at The Plough, next door, for dinner and breakfast and would recommend this hotel to those who wish to stay in Alnwick. Lovely place.

Recently refurbished modern style compact cosy rooms. Accommodation only but with kettle and tea/coffee and biscuits a warm welcome is there - and Leo is on hand to answer any queries and offer suggestions for local tasty eating and drinking spots just a short walk away.

Booked 2 nights in November. Alnwick looks great and the Bondgate Boutique looked the most inviting place to stay. It looked cosy and inviting on the outside and when we got inside it certainly lived up to the first impression! Having stayed in plenty of chain hotels I can say this place had all the features and standards that those...

Stayed at the Bondgate for 3 nights recently, the welcome from Leo was helpful and recommendations regarding eating etc worthwhile as it was our first 'but not last] visit to the area. Both the outside and our room [no 2] were very welcoming and cosy, the only area below expectations was our en suite, the finish around the shower needed...

On a cold day in Northumberland, after travelling up from Surrey my wife and I didn't really know what to expect. Well other than my constant reading of previous visitors reviews that is. I am glad to say it was great. Checking in was seamless, being greeted by the owner who failed to mention they had just won an award...

Had a very pleasant stay here, checking was self service after I received a text message with the front door code and the key was there for me. The room itself was very clean and of a high standard. Everything was new and there was plenty of condiments, biscuits!! Mmmm Plenty of off road parking at the rear and there...

I've never stayed in a bed only hotel before and this was my first. I must admit I didn't realise the owner also had a B&B as well across the road until after we'd booked. Leo the owner, a nice chap, greeted us on arrival and showed us to a very lovely room upstairs and to the front of the...

Can't fault the welcome, the quality of the room and the central location. The area is quiet but the upstairs boiler repeatedly switches on and off all night long. This made for two disrupted nights' sleep. The owners are obviously aware of this, as earplugs were provided in the room. So, if you're a heavy sleeper this is a great...
