My partner and I were attending a wedding in Alnwick taking place on a Friday and The Hog's Head was recommended as a place to stay. We had reserved a room at a cost of around £110 (my partner booked so i don't have exact figure) this was for bed & breakfast which personally I find quite expensive, and that's...

Stayed in the Hogs head as a first night stop in Alnwick on a long weekend. The place is very clean, the staff are excellent, there is a great outdoor play area for kids, the breakfasts are excellent, dinners are great pub grub. Only downside is that it is on the A1, but I would highly recommend for anyone that...

You are more than welcome. It was our pleasure. We pride ourselves on being fully accessible (and delighted to have just been shortlisted for a second award for being inclusive in tourism). We are so pleased that you and your husband enjoyed your stay with us and hope to welcome you back again very soon.

It was clean. The front desk went the extra mile when we needed to get to Alnwick Castle on a Sunday. She could not locate a taxi. We have a very limited time so she drove us to the entrance and did not expect to be compensated.

Stayed with family for the night. A problem with the room was dealt with straight away and the room we moved to was lovely. Very clean, decent sized twin room on the ground floor. The hotel is near the A1 but we didn't have any trouble sleeping as there was hardly any traffic noise. We ate dinner in the pub...

Excellent hotel , we stayed here whilst playing in the 3 castles Golf Tournament. Staff were all friendly food and drink was exellent. Rooms were clean , tidy and a good size. Breakfast was excellent for self service, food was hot , you could even have poached eggs and there was a good choice . We would definately stay again.

Ideal location away from town centre so lots of parking, really genuinely nice staff who can't do enough for you, top food and we would definitely consider staying next time we visit. Breakfast is great and not far from Aln Valley Railway

Me and my partner were looking at booking a few days in Northumberland, an area neither of us had ever visited before and weren't familiar with when a friend who regularly visits the area recommended we stayed at 'The Hogs Head Inn' where he had stayed himself. We booked to stay here between Monday 27th June to Friday 1st July,...

Apprehensive when we travelled towards the Hog's Head, as it appeared to be part of a Trading Estate. Easily accessible near the very busy A1. However a friendly welcome at Reception gave a very good impression of Staff courtesy and efficiency. Travelled with my sister; our preferring to book two rooms for single occupancy. Both rooms allocated surprisingly spacious and...
