On arrival we received a warm welcome, Jo made our daughter feel comfortable. Had a lovely room with comfy beds. Had a great nights sleep and an excellent cooked breakfast in the morning. Location was great with 2 pubs very nearby. Can't fault our stay here at all.

This B&B is fabulous! I stayed in 2 rooms because I had one night away in Newcastle then returned to the B&B. Both rooms were immaculately clean and were very comfortable and cosy and welcoming. Both beds were also like sleeping on a cloud - heaven!! The water pressure in both showers wasn't exactly Niagra Falls but they do the...

I booked a room at this well regarded B&B as it was much less expensive than staying in Alnwick. I arrived to find someone - I believe the owner's daughter - who led me off to the main road and another B&B which she runs. No explanation but I would guess that the owners of the Georgian were away and...

We stayed here for one night. It is in a fantastic location and the owners are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the room was great- very comfy bed. Only negative was that the shower took a while to heat up but everything else made up for it

We stopped here as we were attending an event. The car park is just under the archway which is narrow and can only get a couple of cars in there about 4 maximum and if you have parked you car right in then you will most likely be blocked in especially in the afternoon/evening so if you need to use...

Lovely welcome by jo who makes you feel so welcome straight away. There was 3 of us staying and the room was more than big enough for us. Breakfast was beautiful too, good quality produce. Everything was provided even down to an iron and ironing board. Jo was a great host and we will definitely be going back. Thank you...

Arrived without a reservation, found the place on the internet. What a warm welcome and help to park the car. Nice rooms, spotlessly clean. Slept soundly. Breakfast to die for! Very helpful trip advice to our next destination which was Edinburgh, via the coast road. Sincere and warm! The chef offered to reverse our car out of the parking into...

Stopped two nights. Guest house was really well situated and the staff were very nice. The room was clean and the bed was really comfy. Main downside was the size of the room and the shower space. It felt pretty cramped. The TV standby light couldn't be switched off either. The TV was hanging over the end of the bed,...

Jo who runs the guest house is pleasant and friendly. She made sure her guests were comfortable. All the staff at the guest house are great. The room we had (#7) is a good size. It overlooked the street but was quiet. The breakfast the next morning was in good portions and served hot. The location is within walking distance...

Happily spoke on the phone prior to collecting our keys. The owners were friendly and relaxed. The bed was comfortable during our 1 night stay and the cooked breakfast was wonderful. Thankful of the local free car parks as the rear courtyard is too small for everyone. Ideal location close to town, castle and gardens.
