Holly Lodge is a modern contemporary B&B close to Alnwick town centre. It has been purpose built & is efficiently run by proprietors George & Jackie. We had a double room on the ground floor which was small in size. The room had everything you needed, but not much wardrobe space or space to store suitcases. The ensuite wet room...

A very nice and comfortable place to stay in Alnwick and only a few minutes walk from the town centre. We had a first floor dormer/attic room which was fairly spacious, shower room was very spacious and well equipped. Its a modern property so furnished in a minimalist contemporary style. Breakfasts were very good and beautifully cooked and presented. Breakfast...

We stayed for one night and needed an early breakfast which did not cause any issues. everything was of a high standard and professionally done, We were given good advice about where to eat in the town and directions for the next morning. Only now do I realise we missed out on the tea and cake! however I would still...

My family and I stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience: the rooms, beds and bathrooms were excellent quality and very comfortable. We were greeted with a pot of tea and a lovely slice of tea-bread (tasted home-made) - I meant to ask for the recipe but forgot. The breakfast menu had a good choice...

Enjoyed a lovely two nights stay at Holly Lodge, Jackie was very welcoming when we arrived, it's set in a quiet location with just a short walk into the town centre, the room was very comfortable and modern. We pre-ordered our breakfast for the following morning and there was a good selection to choose from and it was freshly cooked,...

Just back from a four night stay at Holly Lodge - clean, comfortable and convenient. Situated in a quiet road within easy walking distance of town centre - bus stop for excellent X18 coastal bus route - Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the wonderful Barter Books. Will stay again when in area.

We cannot but say that this is very good B&B and which is close to visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Though we were a bit early George welcomed us and showed us to our room, which was upstairs (looks like the attic has been converted into rooms). We cannot say anything about the room (room 1) except because of the...
