Vine house is a good, clean two to three star B&B / small hotel, but other reviews had made me expect more. The double room and bed were fine - but small annoyances - the fan in the bathroom seemed to run all of the time and sounded like four Bristol Olympus engines; far louder than the maximum sound level...

We stayed at the Vine House Hotel on a Saturday evening before completing the Silverstone Half Marathon. We were made to feel so welcome both in the hotel and restaurant, and in the lovely village pub over the road, where we watched the 6 nations rugby and enjoyed complementary half time snacks! The hotel is beautiful, clean and well furnished...

My Family surprised me with a Mothers Day Lunch. I'm so glad they chose here. We were greeted at door, offered drinks immediately and then shown to our table. The service was perfect, the food delicious and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. I can honestly say it was the best Mothers Day Lunch I've ever had, and I've had 33...

This is a restaurant with excellent food, from the homemade bread through to the gorgeous desserts and all beautifully presented. The most important factor is that food is freshly cooked in the oven and not boiled in a sous-vide. Many restaurants now use the sous-vide method, which I think is a bit of a cheat, and although the meat is...

Family members and friends had visited the restaurant throughout the year for birthday celebrations and I had been told how amazing the food was and the therefore chose the Vine House restaurant for my family birthday meal. Surprisingly busy for a Tusday evening, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We were welcomed by the friendly host and seated quickly. The...

We stay at this restaurant with rooms whenever we are in the vicinity which is several times a year. The kitchen produces quite outstanding and varied dishes with considerable originality without resorting to over the top 'chefery'. The dining room staff are charming and unobrusive. The rooms are simple, comfortable and well appointed. Delightful for a visit.

3 would be mean, 4 is high. Decent small B&B type hotel + restaurent. Very friendly and homely service. Rooms okay. Wooden floors, small bathroom but at 85 quid for a single in a double its perfectly fine. My only objection as a business traveller is that there is no desk to work from. Restaurant is nice but overpriced. 33...

Early doors on a Friday night saw us 4 sharing the Restaurant with another 8 people. The food is not exceptional but is ok - the chocolate terrine was very heavy. It is very poor value at £33 for 3 courses with no option to take 2. Supplement on one of the 3 main course choices and on cheese. Cosy...
