    We called in for lunch on a Saturday. Had regularly visited during the 80's when it was amazing . Pulled into the car park and tbh it looked pretty shabby. The Bistro looked neglected tables with placemats under the legs, a little dusty. The waitress...More

    Lovely afternoon tea in this traditional country hotel. Afternoon tea was taken in a beautiful room overlooking a small garden. The usual afternoon tea fayre of finger sandwiches, cakes and scones. Attentative but not intrusive service. Would definitely recommend.

    Yes always best to book at weekends as this hotel & restaurant are popular with locals as well as residents.
