We first visited here for our wedding night and we're extremely impressed with the service, the room and the breakfast. We thought we'd visit again for our second anniversary and have a meal as a friend bought us a voucher towards a meal/stay. We arrived with a warm welcome and got seated at our table. The food came very quickly...

Great lunch with excellent service. Had drinks in the sunny bar before going downstairs into bistro for lunch. Nice to have white tablecloths to make the experience special. Delicious food and 5 stars for the plate of pics for two. Good atmosphere. Excellent service.

Wow what a fantastic afternoon tea we had at this stylish restaurant!! There was plenty to eat and everything tasted absolutely delicious! The homemade scones where out of this world, so tasty!! The sandwiches were also really delicious and the cakes were homemade and so lush. We all loved it... everything was perfect! The staff were lovely and very friendly...

Provenance inns are really quite special places to stay but what we have here breaks away from the typical inn that provenance specialise in I found this hotel shabby In comparison and in need of a good clean I arrived late afternoon after 4 and they were still cleaning the bedrooms The bedroom decor was kind of a sixties monstrosity...

My friend and I visited the Tontine for afternoon tea yesterday. On arrival we were shown straight to our table which was by the windows, which was nice - especially having the warmth of the sun on my back. The room was quaint, calming and had plenty of natural light. The table was set for afternoon tea, although we were...

Booked this just a few days before and got a very good rate. We had stayed before at the Cleveland Tontine and really enjoyed it. This time at checking in we were shown to the Tontine room. A large room at the front of the house. Each room here is individually styled. Great bath and shower room. Large sleigh bed...

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the private dining room on the 13th March, I cannot express how amazing Andrea and her staff were. We had chosen a sit down four course meal for our guests and every course was faultless. The presentation, and quality of the food was second to none. We were looked after from...

Overall, a really lovely visit; great service, really great service and good food. We stayed over night and the room was a little more shabby than chic... small details let it down a little. The decor of the whole place is a little dated but our room had bulbs out, a wonky toilet seat and dead flies on the bathroom...

We booked a half price room at this hotel. And got an amazing suite with an upstairs bathroom and a bath big enough to swim in!! We kicked off our stay with afternoon tea. A full cake stand of yummy treats in the beautiful restaurant. Infact, there was soo much food, we could not even finish it. Our dinner that...
