Not the first or the last to chicken-out of walking down and then climbing back up (I'd been before) a quiet pint in the garden overlooking the lower port area seemed a good idea. There is a lovely view better than that from sea level. Cold wind so went in. The places where you can sit and drink are in the...

Didn't actually stay here but ate out at the hotel a couple of times. Would recommend the belly pork with black pudding for a starter, absolutely delicious! The lamb shank and the lasagne were both good too. Very reasonably priced. Added bonus of looking out over the beautiful bay whilst eating your dinner.

We called in to the Victoria for a bar meal and it was well worth it, we've not been here for a number of years and it's had a bit of a facelift since we were last there, very well done. They welcome dogs into the bar areas, which is a definite plus. The food was great with a good...

We only had evening meal at the hotel and were made to feel very welcome even though we were not guests of the hotel and did not even have a booking. A super meal was had by both my wife and I and would not hesitate recommending to others.

Spent a couple of relaxing nights here. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful. Enjoyed sitting in the beer garden drinking a well kept real ale taking in the beautiful views. We booked the restaurant for our evening meal and wasn't disappointed, the food was delicious. My starter, slow roasted belly pork served with black pudding and...

We were planning a weekend break in Whitby but stopped off in Robin Hoods Bay en route and glad we did. We popped into the Victoria on the off chance they had a vacancy and lucky for us they had a cancellation that morning. We were given room 11 which was very spacious and had a fabulous bathroom, one of...

Sit in the garden, enjoy one of the real ales, take in the view and breathe - simply a wonderful full place to realise there are lots of good things in the world. The food is also pretty good and reasonable value given the views you can enjoy whilst tucking into your meal in the garden if the weather allows.
