I was fooled into booking this hotel whilst travelling through Yorkshire by the reviews on the booking.com website! Exceptional was the general consensus! Here I have to disagree I paid £ 120 for a room I could have got for £ 50 at any premier inn. The bar was soulless and empty apart from some pensioners and a lonely looking...

Choice of 3 well cooked meats, loads of HOT VEG, and stayed hot, with loads of lovely hot gravy and horseradish sauce etc. Very well cooked food and served by a very competent female chef, and assisted by a female second chef. All the clients in our area were regular ones. They seemed to go every week. I can understand...

Please note the poor/ terrible reviews of this hotel are all old. This hotel has newer owners and my opinions are based on the current state of the hotel. I booked an Executive Double with dinner and breakfast. The price was reasonable for what we had. The room was very good....I particularly liked the good lighting over the make up...

Stayed for one night on business. This is an good hotel, not too large and quite modern. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout our stay and for our seminar meeting. The bedrooms are of a good size, well appointed and clean. Our meal in the restaurant was very good with a menu that caters for most tastes. Breakfast was...

We visited the restaurant on a Sunday lunch time in mid March and thus had the carvery. Customer service was very good as was the food. One of the best carveries I have had in some time. A particular highlight was the roast beef. We will definitely go back.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night as a little Birthday break and I'm so pleased we did. The hotel is a short walk to the bustling town centre. The room we had was very clean, plenty spacious and had one of the most comfortable king size beds ever! The breakfast has a decent variety of cooked options...

We went with friends so there was 7 of us, very accommodating and great lunch. The meat is very tender and tasty, although very disappointed in a venue who has to use frozen roast potatoes!!! Will go again though!

Modern, recently extended mid-range hotel within a business park on the outskirts of Northallerton just a ten minute walk from the town centre. I stayed in one of the new rooms as part of the recent extension. Stylish black/grey decor, generous room size with full king size bed, free wi-fi and Freeview flat screen TV. Thermostatic radiator means you can...

I stayed at the Allerton Court Hotel on spec as the weather caught me out while working in the area. Although I hadn't booked a room the Manager George soon had one for me which was top quality. The food was excellent and thanks to Adam and Ashleigh for making me feel welcome. I will definitely stay again.

Located on edge of town this is a clean contemporary hotel with comfortable beds. The breakfast was good with made to order cooked items as well as a self service continental buffet. We paid a reasonable room rate and the room accommodated 3 adults with a double and a single bed. Tried to keep the key cards away from my...
