Stayed here for two nights last week (August 9th and 10th) in the coach house section. Lovely and clean with bags of character, we probably didn`t make the most of the hotel on our stay, as we had plenty planned whilst in the area. I was particularly taken with the fabulous grounds and the lovely well stocked bar, where I...

We loved this place – a friendly, peaceful old vicarage full of character, comfort and freshly cooked food. The lobster risotto was one of the most enjoyable and flavoursome dishes I have ever tasted (and I’m not exaggerating!). This would make a perfect base for anyone pursuing local history or tracing their ancestry. Americans, for example, would surely feel inspired...

We stayed here for a few nights during the first week of the school summer holidays with our five year old grandchild (who loves nearby Filey and delights in staying in hotels). It was a big hit with us all. Room five made a lovely family room with a very grand, comfortable four-poster for us and and a very comfortable...

Rooms are in keeping with the period of the house and the food is freshly cooked to order - with a really good cooked breakfast included in the price. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make it a pleasant trip. The entrance to the hotel is not easily seen so don't drive past! It has a small car...

Worst nights sleep ever. 1st I've stayed here. Hotel was recommended by other work colleagues who have used before. Whole place looks tired as did I the next morning. 4 poster bedroom at rear overlooking the church and their noisy bells. On the hour, and 15, 30 & 45 minutes they rang. On a lighter note, evening meal was very...

Stayed for the weekend with my husband & son in a suite. The standard of accommodation was absolutely superb. The only fault was that the bed in the main bedroom was much too soft - no support. Other than that it was faultless. Breakfasts were superb & we ate there one evening which was also very good. We hope to...

An enjoyable 2 night stay when visiting Flamborough Head and Bempton cliffs which are only a short drive away. The hotel is a former rectory decorated in traditional style, with off road parking. I stayed in a first floor room in one of two converted barns which had recently been redecorated. It should be noted the upper floor is accessed...

Recently stayed here for two nights booked as a last minute escape. We were given a room in the coach house which was very large and comfortable. The room looked recently decorated, the bed was comfortable with good quality fresh smelling bedding and likewise with the fluffy white towels. The bathroom was dated and in need of a good bleaching...
