We had a wonderful time staying in the beautiful Southgate B&B. Mick & Sue were extremely friendly and informative alongside providing brilliant service for their guests. The bedrooms were lovely and extremely comfortable and the full English breakfast was perfect! The only tiny improvement I would make would be to add a full length mirror to the bed room for...

We had been wanting to visit this establishment and the lovely Hunmanby village for some time now. How the wait was worth it. The Southgate is a perfect base for the Wolds, Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough and that gorgeous hidden gem, Hunmanby Gap cove Mick and Sue attentively run a very clean and quaint B&B. Our room had a great view...

Wonderful B&B, great location. Friendly owners, nothing too much trouble. Lovely cosy clean rooms, and superb breakfast cooked to order. Stayed overnight on a visit to see friends and family. Great base for visiting Bridlington, Filey and Bempton.

Have just returned from a wonderful 5 night break at Southgate B&B. The whole ambience of the B&B is warm and welcoming and the decor complements this. Breakfasts were superb with a good range of choices from fruit juices, cereals, yoghurts and a full english. You can bring your own takeaway into the dining area in the evening which is...

We stayed at the Southgate a couple of weeks ago. It was so nice that we stayed an extra day. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast good, the host and hostess really welcoming, the location in a pretty village near to Filey - what more could one ask?

Ok here's My review for trip adviser . Me and my wife have stayed in the Southgate earlier this year so know it would be a welcoming/ warm friendly place to stay again and ideal for our bit of touring of the east coast ... This time we stayed a little longer and took along our teenage daughters Plus retired...

Absolutely brilliant. A real home from home. We were very warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble from our hosts. Mick was brilliant and helped us sort a room to accommodate our 12 year old who was travelling with us also. The room was bright, airy, modern and very clean and comfortable. We stayed at this lovely B&B in Hunmanby for 2 nights this week.We were made welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Really good breakfast, and the place was very clean. We will definately stay here again and we would recommend it to other people.

Would definitely recommend this quaint b n b... Looks like a pub from the outside but absolutely lovely inside we stayed in the extremely spacious family room On the ground floor there was only 3 of us and we had so much space perfect for my crazy toddler to run around. The breakfast was delicious. We hope to return again...
