Stayed here for one night on our journey from York to Milton Keynes. In a quiet rural location. Owner friendly. Room huge and beautifully decorated. Bed comfy. Lots of items on hospitality tray with the bonus of a well stocked mini bar. Bathroom modern and clean. Breakfast was served at The Kitchen Cafe next door. Great choice of food and...

I booked 2 rooms and both were newly decorated and some of the best rooms we've stayed in! The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. The accommodation was very warm which was important as we woke up to snow. Breakfast was a good standard with everything you'd expect. Would highly recommend!

We have stayed in lots of places, and found this to be one of the cleanest, most welcoming yet unobtrusive places we have visited. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Nothing was a problem for the hosts. Comfortable and nice and quiet, plenty of hot water. Overall would highly recommend.

Very handy for RAF Cranwell. This was my second stay here. Room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable with tea/coffee facilities in the room. Also had a hairdryer in the room. Had en suite facilities too. Both times have stayed on my own and felt safe.

Stayed here for a wedding nearby. The owner met us on arrival and showed us around and to our room. She was really friendly and couldnt do enough for us. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean, really large and really modern decor. The beds were oh so comfy and the mini bar was a nice luxurious extra! The breakfast the...

Booked in for 2 nights visiting friends in the area and celebrating husbands birthday. Beautiful room, huge bed with lovely linen and an equally huge bathroom with lovely towels etc. Breakfast was enormous and kept us going all day. The mini bar was a nice touch as was the hair dryer.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, all on the ground floor, Linda could not have done more to ensure we had a great stay. All the staff were very cheerful and friendly....

This place is a little gem. The accommodation, food and the pleasantness of the staff was exceptional. However what stood out most was the amount of themselves that Linda and George put into making you welcome even to the extent of finding us different restaurants to eat in each evening. If you are in the area this is the place...

We booked two nights at this lodge. We had a tiring journey getting diverted and knew we would be late. I telephoned to let them know and they said it was ok.
