This is the second time we have stayed at the Cosgrove. It is amazing value the place is immaculately clean, both the rooms and common areas. It is always warm breakfast is very good and nicely presented and there is a kitchen for the use of the guests if you don't want to live off takeaways and fast foods. Plus...

We have made the Cosgrove our "go to " place when heading back home for the weekend. We have stayed in many of the local Hotels and B and B's but keep coming back to the Cosgrove. The rooms are well presented, clean, warm and welcoming. Barry and the staff can't do enough for you and you will feel genuinely...

this was the 5th or 6th time we have stayed at the Cosgrove and we have always found the room to be clean and comfortable. Barry is a really nice person and will go that extra mile to make sure you are comfortable, We highly recommend the guest house.

Perfect Guest House, Central but Quiet to Town, if I'm in the Area again, I will Stay here with No Problem.... I came to Scunthorpe by Train which is about 15 minutes walk but had no problem with that (I see from a previous revue that the Owner picked someone up from the Station) Which I thought was Great offer....

Barry is really kind (he came to pick up to the station) and the place is nice, central, pleasant and the rooms are perfect. We were there for a short wedding weekend and our planning was not so "standard" but Barry and Sandra found a solution for everything (early breakfast, payment leaved in the room, taxi numbers...) Do not hesitate!!

I had a lovely stay at the Cosgrove guesthouse. The rooms are always clean and tidy, coffee and tea making facilities Witch are topped up daily, DVD TV in all the room's and the room's were always made up and cleaned when I came back from work. Breakfast was served every morning in a lovely well presented dining area. There...

This was my second visit to the Cosgrove, check in was a little confusing as it was in the gym / sun tanning salon across the road, they didn't have a card machine so before I could check in I had to head to a cashpoint, however. I suppose these things happen. The room was an en suite twin, front...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as we were going to a wedding locally, and we were generally very impressed. The room was very comfortable, the bed was big and comfy, and the breakfast was delicious. And it was good value to boot, at £48 per night. The only slight down side was that the room was...

The Cosgrove B&B is situated in an undesirable location in Scunthorpe....which is the Downtown area. The owner, Barry, I found to be a very warm and friendly man...which makes it harder to write a less than stellar review....but that I must. As a woman traveling alone, I would definitely NOT recommend this accommodation. I had booked in for 7 nights...

I stayed in the guest house for almost a full month, and during all the time the owners and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The en-suite room was really nice, very comfortable, quiet and always clean. Of course we can't forget the delicious breakfast, where you have a list to choose what you prefer to eat! I really...
