I can't rate this hotel highly enough! From the moment we arrived the staff were helpful, polite and friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. We booked the room with the jacuzzi bath (the site is clear it's a jacuzzi bath, not a jacuzzi, so bookers should heed that labelling) in a detached building with beautiful rooms. The rooms...

We stayed at the The Royal Oak for one night, whilst visiting Donnington Park Race Circuit to watch British Superbikes. A treat for my husband for his birthday. This is the second time we have stayed in Long Whatton, which is a lovely quiet village. The Royal Oak is only 10/15 minutes drive from the circuit by car. The accommodation...

Review is for restaurant only. Great food in a very welcoming atmosphere. Service was a little sketchy. Having asked what type of fish was served with chips (pollock) we then decided against ordering it, going for the ham hock instead. We were surprised therefore to be served with fish and chips but this was soon rectified. The earlybird menu is...

We stumbled across this place only a few weeks ago and now can't wait to eat there as regular customers. The food is amazing and the early bird set menu is fabulous value for money. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the service is exceptional. Booking is advisable as they get very busy, especially at weekends. We would recommend...

Stayed for 1 night and was immediately greeted with a warm welcome. The bedroom was large, modern and clean and I later found the bed to be sumptuous and comfy. The bar is friendly and was very busy on the Wednesday eve I was there. Food was very tasty and served efficiently and the staff were professional and friendly as...

Just got back from a night stay here and all I can say is, perfect! Warming friendly arrival, we had pre booked a table for the evening and over the phone earlier that day they were as also friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully decorated, impeccably clean... we had the jacuzzi bath room which I highly recommend was very...

Atmosphere is always great and the rooms are spacious, modern and all you could want.

We chose this place to stay overnight when attending 45 West Gin school nearby . The rooms were comfortable and it was a very pleasant stay. There is a good choice of pub food on offer. What stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff were . Always smiling and nothing was too much trouble . Thank you !

Found this pub only recently and decided to use it for a birthday celebration. Booking was easy, ask for a table in the dining room if you'd rather not be in the main bar area. The car park was almost full (on a Monday evening), but there's on-road parking outside. The staff were friendly and pleasant, we were showed to...
