I reviewed this place more than a year ago. Since then I have been back twice and it remains consistently good. The attention to detail is superb and every care is taken to welcome guests and settle them in. I simply cannot fault Park House or dinner at La Locanda as part of a very reasonable deal.

Great overall experience, from the welcome right through to breakfast there is nothing to fault. Locally source products, I had the omelette with cheese and smoked haddock for breakfast, what a treat. Even better is the dining offer at the nearby Italian restaurant when staying Wednesday through Friday.

I don't give an excellent to many places - but Park House deserve it. The owners take great pains to make sure that your experience is not just an ordinary B&B.... from the moment you check in, you know that nothing will be too much trouble. The owners take pride in their establishment, and it shows. A fabulous getaway -...

We had a one night stay here and it was faultless! From the minute we arrived we were looked after. Mary & Howard couldn't do enough for us. We were in room 6, which was small, but perfectly formed! Our taxi let us down in the evening, so Howard drove us a good 25 minutes to our destination (through the...

A warm welcome with tea and cakes on arriving and that attitude was there until we left. Such a pleasant calm relaxing stay. We had asked for a quiet room and were located at the rear of the property overlooking the garden, a very nice room that could have been bigger but we have had smaller. The property is on...

A very well presented B&B. We were made to feel very welcome from the outset and enjoyed a very charming and quiet stay. The room was very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had. Breakfast was faultless and served by owners who are clearly very proud of their offering. Will certainly visit again and would recommend.

We have stayed at Park House three times now and will keep coming back for more. It is a unique Victorian property which Howard and Mary maintain to the very highest standards; beautifully decorated and appointed with sympathetic Antique furnishings and tasteful artwork. The rooms are charming with well fitted en suites. The breakfast is outstanding and all at a...

Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and host Howard; really nice chap gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to our room. The bedroom was really nice and well...

We stayed here for 1 night and the host couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Out room was on the first floor at the front of the hotel and we thought the traffic noise may have been an issue but it really wasn't. The room was well insulated. Breakfast was wonderful with a great choice and top quality products....

I stayed here very recently as a last minute business trip - rang up on the morning and fortunately got the last available room. What a stunning house - little gem in the heart of the Ribble Valley countryside. The house is very homely and Howard was very accommodating and helpful. Coffee and cake were served free of charge by...
