Called here for an evening meal whilst travelling through Gisburn. Had no booking but was quickly seated and served. Four main meals were very good indeed. No complaints whatsoever about the food or service. Only grumble was that the room was cold. However when I mentioned this the radiator was put on immediately. Would eat here again if in the...

A very friendly welcome in a very well presented little pub. The food was excellent as was the service. We shared the meat platter all of which was spot on. The homemade scratchings are a must for anyone that visits as well. Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner. The guest rooms look nice as well and reasonably priced....

A group of 12 of us came here for a few drinks Saturday afternoon and food whilst staying at ribblesdale park for my husbands 30th Birthday. It was beautiful, nothing was too much for the stuff. After seeing one of our groups starters we even then decided to order more for asap and they came as soon as they were...

I can't recommend this little gem enough :-) we visited Sunday evening 6/11 with a travel zoo voucher for a 3 course meal, all the staff that dealt with us were polite and very friendly - we were served quickly & efficiently with drinks & food. My husband said it was the best Sunday Pork roast lunch he had eaten...

We only stayed for 1 night but we were extremely pleased with the our stay. Our room was very well appointed and clean. Even though it was situated in the rear courtyard the room was warm. The bathroom was quite small but the fittings were more than adequate with a good shower and lovely thick towels. The staff were very...

My boyfriend and I stayed here 07th Oct 2016 (along with 2 other couples and some friends) as we were all attending a wedding at the nearby Skirk Hotel. I can't fault the hotel at all! They were extremely welcoming on arrival and were happy to accommodate us on our early check-in. They even gave us a lift to the...

Thank you for the kind review,we are strongly of the opinion that little things matter and a lift up the road is no trouble at all , we enjoy a great relationship with our neighbours at the hotel . We hope you come and stay with us again soon .

We visited the white bull at gisburn last night. The pub is nicely decorated and looks welcoming. However we were quickly disappointed with the service. There seemed to be no organisation of staff, you would think that it was everybody's first night as nobody seemed to know their role. We waited over half an hour after receiving our menus before...

Thankfully there are still pubs like the White Bull around, where the basic menu lists those classic dishes of Chicken Kiev, Steak and ale pie, which when generously homemade with local ingredients put a smile on your face. The specials board was off, instead they were doing a fish and chips deal. Service was friendly and attentive with an abundance...
