Peaceful setting in lovely grounds. Staff are very accommodating as I was late on arriving. Meal was fantastic both nights I was there. Phoned ahead to order my meal on second night . Rooms comfortable and clean and had a lovely view from my widow.

Attended a family wedding mid September and stayed Friday and Saturday night. We arrived late on the Friday after a long 9 hour journey but received a very warm welcome from the staff that greeted us. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and I really can't fault them. The food was amazing from the breakfast which included just...

Visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening for dinner. Beautiful location and grounds. Welcomed at reception and the service throughout was very friendly. Our order was taken as we had a few drinks in the bar area before being taken over to our table. The starters were delicious - would certainly recommend the pâté. Slight confusion for the mains when...

I love being here. The old house is like stepping back in time. The staff can't do enough for you, the restaurant is a must and the wine list is fabulous. The rooms are luxurious, not at all like the horrid modern hotels and have some spectacular views. Escape for a couple of day and feel totally pampered. We loved...

Having stayed at Astley Bank many times we were surprised that original owners Helen and Nigel have sold up and the hotel is now under new management. They kept the sale very quite, but thankfully all the staff remained and our experience last week was as good as ever, food, service and the exceptional rooms the hotel is a gem...

Spent two days here with my husband and teenage sons for a family wedding and it was just magical. The setting is immaculate, green lush lawns with unexpected meanders and hidden away seats. The wedding food was really very good indeed, delish fishcake starters and slow cooked beef to die for and lovely wine. Our room had a fab view...

We came as a last minute bank holiday weekend. Nice and reasonably priced room. Clean and tidy interior and immaculate grounds. Friendly and attentive staff. I did find the breakfast overpriced (it wasn't included in our package) but the evening meal was delicious and reasonably priced for three courses. A really nice alternative to the chain hotels

Our youngest son's wedding was held in this beautiful building. The whole day was wonderful. A beautiful setting, fantastic staff and service and wonderful food. Soup followed by chicken casserole and chocolate brownie and ice cream to eat. Tasty. Good portions. Children catered for and vegan and vegetarian options available. Some people stayed over, accommodation excellent. Wedding breakfast next morning...
