We stayed here for one night with my parents. We didn't think the owners heard our first ring of the front door bell, so after waiting a while we rang again and were firmly told by the owner that she had heard it the first time and that there was no need to ring a second time!! She did not...

Nice room with fridge, microwave and the usual stuff as well. Breakfast is amazing, especially the black pudding! It was my birthday the week i stopped and even got a little gift of some chocolates in my room when i returned that evening! Absolutely lovely place. Will be returning the next time I'm in the area! 10 outta 10!

I travel for my job and I thought I would support the local economy by booking a B&B. I booked my room by telephone and everything seemed OK. I arrived at the B&B at about 10.30 pm, as my work unfortunately kept me back. I called the property and got no reply, as I wanted some directions. No reply. I...

Spent a night here whilst doing some business in Blackburn. The owner, Marge was charming and couldn't do enough. It was excellent value rounded off by a hearty breakfast. Would recommend for single or couples

A really nice b&b where attention has been paid to every detail and everything you could want is provided (right down to the nice selection of books on the landing and an iron and ironing board for general use. And a fridge with real milk and a bottle of chilled water in it. Oh, and free wifi.). And immediately opposite...

We spent the evening of 20th December at Rose Cottage, Room no4. The hosts were very attentive and the room was very clean if rather small. The following morning we couldn't get the shower to run hot, perhaps we were pushing the wrong buttons. I was going to complain at breakfast but the hosts and the food were so good it...

I stayed here with my 18 year old daughter, as a small break away to spend time together. My daughter has a few tattoos , which doesn't make her a bad person or a 'thug'... however, the 'look' on the owners faces when they saw her was so unwelcoming. The three guest rooms are in the owners lovely cottage, so...

Have stayed here a couple of times on business. Surprisingly convenient for business in Blackburn, yet located in a countryside setting. Very accommodating hosts. Clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Could not fault them.

My husband and I had a happy night here whilst cycling the lancashire cycleway. The B&B has a secure area to lock bikes in which was great. Our room was on the small side (shower room pretty cramped) but had everything that we needed, even including a microwave and fridge! There were lots of little touches that I thought were...
