Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited here with my Girlfriend for a quick weekend away and neither of us have a single negative thing to say. The hosts were polite and helpful, the room was large and heated nicely with the bed and pillows being very comfortable. The room and accommodation were spotless, the bathrooms were very modern with a large shower in our room, as well as the property being sat in beautiful grounds, and situated perfectly for a night out in Lancaster or Preston. Breakfast was also fantastic with a lot of variety and all of it great quality. I can't believe this place is as cheap as it is, as we both agreed we would happily pay more for the room and service we received.

Gorgeous bnb. The room was lovely with lovely garden views. Everything was clean and tidy. Even little touches had been included with biscuits, bottled water, fresh milk etc and the breakfast was absolutely lovely!! I would definitely recommended this place and return. xx

A great b&b. Clean, tidy, smart. Great view and gardens. Lovely service, excellent breakfast. Decent pub just down the road too. It’s also very easy to get to from the motorway. Pricey but worth it. Will go again.

Just spent two lovely nights at Lowfield and wish it could have been longer. The house is set in beautiful lush gardens and when you enter it's obvious the care and attention that Ann and Tony take in their fabulous home. The bedroom was extremely spacious with crisp white linen and super clean en suite. Breakfast was delicious and very quick and efficient. All in all a wonderful stay and it won't be our last. Thank you so much Ann & Tony for a lovely relaxing break.

The proprietor was friendly, helpful and a mine of useful information. The room was spacious. The location was easy to find, in the middle of the gorgeous countryside and very quiet. The breakfast could not be faulted - Full English, Continental - you name it and you could have it. There is also a first class restaurant 100yd up the road for an excellent evening meal. This is probably the best B&B we have stayed in and I can't recomment it highly enough

What a beautiful, cared for, welcoming place to stay. There’s so many lovely walks and drives out to do. We visited Lancaster, Brock Bottom, Beacon Fell, Guys Thatched Hamlet and Barton Grange - all within very easy access. Rooms were a generous size, IMMACULATELY clean, with comfy beds and a lovely, traditional but modern country feel. The gardens are glorious and looked after beautifully and we look forward to booking again. The breakfast was hearty and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Highly recommend and the price was very good.

Perfectly located, we are currently in the Barn self catering. It’s just beautiful, with gorgeous views from every window. The Barn has everything you need and more. It is spotless, very very spacious and incredibly comfortable. All the mod cons are provided too, you really won’t want for anything. We could happily stay at least another week or two but sadly we have to leave.
