My husband and i stayed in room 16 for one night. We had to park at the over flow car park a 1 minute walk away, which was no problem at all, especially as there was no additional parking charges. The room was clean, tidy and pleasant, it was small, but just what we needed for one night, especially as...

Thought we would go to the Continental for breakfast. What a rip off £12.50 each for breakfast. Absolutely ridiculous how can you justify that. Won't be going back. Staff took ages to bring over 2 coffees

Arrived at hotel early met by a very friendly reception who sorted our bags and room ,also as parking is very limited outside the hotel plus a small car park at the rear of hotel we were issued with a permit for the car park around the corner from the hotel,a five minute walk so drop your bags off first,...

It's good to hear you enjoyed your stay, in particular the breakfast and friendly staff. We do have larger rooms available and it is advisable to ring the hotel directly for advice on which room would best suit your needs. Best wishes

We have stayed here a couple of times and we absolutely love it. It's casual and relaxed with beautiful views and lovely staff. Can't fault it. The breakfast is great and the refurbished rooms are spacious, modern and immaculately clean. We will definitely be returning, many, many times!

Recently stayed in room 3 for our 22nd wedding anniversary. Room has excellent sea view and was light and airy, well equipped with kettle and mini bar, very large double bed. Friendly informal hotel, very convenient for all Whitstable has to offer. Excellent breakfast, would thoroughly recommend and hope to return soon.

Given the price we paid for one night, we expected so much more e.g. a king or queen sized bed rather than simply a double bed. The shower could have been of a much higher standard and the room and equipment were basic. No wonder people go abroad as you get a much better standard of equipment. The restaurant, however,...

Stayed for three nights as a couple. Told on arrival had been upgraded to Room 12. It was very warm and cosy, but a bit of a challenge storage-wise as were staying more than one night. Not much of a view and am guessing the "family rooms" were above us, as sounded like a troupe of Irish dancers had moved...
