I would have to agree with others that the price did feel a little high for the room size and breakfast. The owner was very welcoming and the location is great for exploring Whitstable. I found the breakfast very refreshing but I do wonder if something hot could be offered. The deco was lovely and the shower excellent. I would...

The Front Rooms comprises three rooms and a communal lounge area. We stayed in the room with its own balcony and an en suite shower room (I understand the other two have separated, but private, bathrooms). The balcony's presence was moot given that we stayed on a foggy weekend in December, and the shower was a bit feeble and had...

We had a fantastic couple of nights here in August 2016. We stayed in the front room (No.3) which was a good size, with en-suite and a lovely balcony where we ate breakfast. The whole house is beautifully renovated and very clean. Tom was a great host and very helpful, with good local knowledge and tips. The town centre is...

We stayed at the Front Rooms for our wedding anniversary and had such a lovely time. It was a peaceful place to be and we loved the decor. Breakfast was high quality - fruit, granola, juices and croissants and we had it served in our room which was such a treat having breakfast in bed. We spoke to Tom about...

We stayed here at the weekend and really enjoyed the place. Rooms are smallish but immaculately clean and well prepared. Breakfast is of the continental type and is brought to your room. Tom the owner was courteous and helpful. Location great. Only minor issue is the lack of locks on doors. Obviously with only three rooms you would know the...

Managed to somehow get a last minute bank hol reservation at the Front rooms last weekend. We were in the £120 per night room with a separate bathroom in the hallway (not a problem in the slightest). Decor was charming and had a real homely feel, with little touches like handmade ceramics in each room. The shower was amazing; great...

We loved our stay here and can not wait to come back in summer. Great location and lovely decor. Our room was lovely and felt more like a hotel than a B&B. Whitstable is utterly charming. I would highly recommend visiting Jo Jo's in Tankerton for dinner! Tom is a great host and couldn't be more accommodating and welcoming. Thank...

The Front Rooms is a wonderful place to stay. Lovely and quiet - only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. The room was great and Tom is a fantastic host. Really enjoyed the breakfast too, which was delivered on a tray to our room. I'de have no hesitation in recommending this as...

We booked on the look of the rooms and were not disappointed ,it was as beautifully homely as they come ,Tom the host was very friendly and welcoming ,we didn't mind not having a cooked brekky( on booking it was made aware) and the breakfast was filling and professionally presented ,it was too cold for us to sit on the...

Generally a nice stay but the mattresses was uncomfortable (we could feel the springs) and no lock on the door. The owner accidentally came into our room and took a little too long to go back out and close the door... a bit awkward and weird why there was no lock! Also our room didn't have a bathroom so we...
