Friends got the view from hut 5 and we got the extra space in hut 11 which had two double rooms and a small kitchenette. The standard of decor and equipment is excellent and these huts being right on the beach make a great place to stay. Breakfast at the continental is included a short walk from the huts. They... We loved our stay in one of these huts. There was an extra large comfortable bed (which we think must have been assembled in situ), a large tv, free wi fi and a kettle with a good selection of teas and coffee with complimentary biscuits. There was a shower with plenty of hot water (no bath). Our hut was just... More

Needed a change of scenery- this was just the job. The huts are really clean and very well appointed, in a perfect location. I didn't realise breakfast was included at The Continental Hotel, there was something for everyone. I had the kippers which were delicious. If you fancy getting away from it all & watching the world go by these... More

Stayed in hut 5 for a couple of nights mid week and both thought it was great. Something a bit different and waking up on the beach front hearing the sea was lovely. Everything in the hut works and it's a really good space. You may have issues if you are over six foot tall as downstairs is quiet a... More

I booked a 3 night mid week stay for myself, partner and our 7 month old dog while having work done on my home. I was looking for affordability and dog friendliness as top criteria and the hut (No 8) far exceeded what I hoped or. The hut was cosy, very well heated, clean and well maintained. Towels (big and... The Fisherman's Cottages belong to the 3* Hotel Continental and are therefore treated as hotel rooms. The beds, linen, complimentary toiletries all come as per a three star hotel and everything has a nice clean and fresh feel. We were in Hut 9, which is dog friendly, as is the Hotel Continental itself. As we don't generally travel without our... More

We had a girly weekend in one of the fishing huts and loved it. It was very small but such good fun. The beds were comfy and the towels etc good quality. My only slight irk was the hot water was a bit patchy when having a shower - there were times it went from hot to cold and there... More

Visiting Whitstable with friends so we hired the Anderson shed. The shed is located on the beach front, only a few minutes walk away are the towns pubs & restaurant. Very well situated to explore the charms of Whitstable. The shed is nicely equipped, clean & well maintained. The ground floor consists of 2 double bedrooms, wc, shower & wc.... More

We stayed in Hut 9 which has a beautiful big bedroom upstairs with sea view, super king bed (we think), fridge, microwave, wifi, large tv, all the creature comforts needed for a few days away by the sea. Downstairs there's a seating area, that doubles up as two single beds, along with another smaller TV, kettle, toaster. As it was... More

We recently spent a couple of nights staying in one of the fisherman's hut and had an amazing time. Situated on the single beach you could not get any closer to the sea. The hut was well furnished and decorated with a great shower. Could'nt ask for more fridge had milk etc when we arrived. The huts are situated in... More
