We spent two nights here and were very impressed, the setting is perfect and the hut we stayed in was lovely and had everything you need for a short break. It was really nice sitting outside in the deckchairs and watching the world go by. Far more relaxing than staying in a hotel and we will certainly return.

We had hut 3, which is for 4 people, but we were 2, twin beds downstairs with mini kitchen area and double bed upstairs, ideal for our stay. The decor, facilities were first rate, especially the bathrooms, bedding etc. Kitchen area let it down, tiny fridge which was unstable in the cupboard, lovely touch of leaving milk and fruit juices,...

Went to Whitstable and stayed at the Anderson hut, one of the fisherman's huts, it was well appointed and had everything needed, I.e. Kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer etc. The hut had two bedrooms, shower room, separate toilet. It was all very clean, and although it is self catering, it is serviced daily and the price includes a substantial English...

We have long wanted to stay in the Fisherman Huts as we have walked past many times and admired them. A lucky last minute booking for dinner at the wonderful Sportsman and the decision was made to stay over. We stayed in Hut 4 - on arriving we noticed a very strong smell of what we first thought to be...

It's good to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay in Hut 4. We apologise that you did not enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. This is particularly surprising as the majority of our reviews mention how delicious it is. Best wishes.

Having read about these fishermans huts I have wanted to visit for a while and fortunately had the opportunity to this weekend . The cottages exceeded my expectations , warm, comfortable , cosy and well equipped with thoughtful touches of milk, juice and water placed in the fridge as well as the usual tea, coffee and hot chocolate sachets on...

My husband and I stayed in the fishermans huts (5) last week for two nights and totally loved it. We got to Whitstable early but we're lucky enough to get a car parking space at the hotel as our room wasn't ready. We then walked to The Sportsman at Seasalter for lunch. A must if you're a foodie! The walk...

We stayed in hut 3 and found the whole experience really good. The location is great, the breakfast at the hotel is really good and the little hut was clean and comfortable. I'm not sure hut 3 would be suitable for small children but my kids aged 15 and 12 loved it.

Once I'd got over the unwelcoming staff at the Hotel Continental (see below*) I was open minded as to whether the huts would be any more than a gimmick, Glad to say they weren't - they are comfortable and very well located. The have been decorated to a high standard and are a good alternative to a hotel room if...

We appreciate your feedback and apologise about the aspects of your stay you found unappealing. It is surprising to hear you found the staff unwelcoming as the majority of our reviews mention how friendly they are. We are part way through a refurbishment in the bar area of the hotel so the general topic of conversation among staff has been...

Short break away with my husband and our youngest teenager. We arrived early and were able to pick up the parking permit for our Hut at 1pm which was a bonus. We collected our keys just after 3pm. The Huts are a 10 minute walk away from the Hotel through the harbour, a short walk on the road and then...

We were very lucky with the weather, but it would still have been nice even without the sunshine. Nice, pleasant service from the hotel staff, who let us have the key along with the parking space slightly early as the cleaners were finished (we were an hour later than planned due to heavy traffic). So nice to have such easy...
