Very disappointed with with room no 23 very small . the bed was a 4ft under sized and had seen better days , the onsuite was clean and modern. Everything about this hotel was great. The staff were warm. The food was very good especially the breakfast. The location was amazing. I travelled with my wife and two young kids and the place was very child friendly as well. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quick break away form the norm.

This hotel does have a good write up on hotels.com from where we booked it. Mostly agree but it's not as good as we had hoped. Yes it's well located but with traffic on 3 sides of the hotel you will hear traffic if you want to sleep with a window open. We was forced to sleep with the window...

What can we say we arrived very early for checking in at the Bell, as we were going to friends for Boxing Day. The service at reception was first class and they took our bags and kept them safe until later on in the day. We arrived about 6pm and where given our room key - once again reception was...

Me and my partner have visited the bell a few times now just for lunch. And the food has always been tasty and good value for money being a hotel. They also have some good beers on tap there too. We would both be happy to have lunch there again and even if your not staying at the hotel it's nice...

We stayed at the Bell for a night as we do most years. The receptionists are very welcoming. We were disappointed at our room this time no 12 very small and could do with upgrading. The breakfast and the service was good. Best place to stay in Sandwich by far.

Arrived here for a family wedding and recieved a lovely welcome from the receptionist. We had a room on the top floor which meant many stairs to climb,if you were elderly this would be a problem. The room was small, clean and tidy and we had a birdseye view of why it's called the Bell, the church bell chimes every quarter...

We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What a good decision that was. The staff were without exception polite and efficient. Our room, newly decorated and overlooking the river, was first class. We enjoyed our visits to the restaurant where the food was, for us, good along with great service. We will return.

We stayed here for a wedding hosted in the hotel. We found the service to be good and the food served at the wedding was excellent, both at the dining room reception and later at the evening buffet. We had a recently refurbished room that was spacious with a good bathroom/shower. The hotel is in an old building and room...

The food was tasteless, very catering pack. For starter I had pate which was served with soggy toast made of sweet french bread, obviously been prepared hours before serving. The main course was turkey, with all the trimmings, ha ha. The veg was not well drained, still floating in the water it had been cooked in, cold, and the Brussels...
