We stayed at The Bell this weekend, having booked one of their "weekend specials" which included the evening meal. Welcomed from the start with very friendly service, room was very comfortable and clean (pillows perhaps could have been a little firmer), and there was a good selection from the inclusive evening menu. Food itself was very good, in fact the...

I booked The Bell hotel as a 50th birthday weekend for husband and stumbled upon a gem of a place! The staff were all fabulous! Friendly , courteous and professional. We would like to say a special 'thank you ' to Joe the maintenance man who saved my precious ring from the bathroom sink , which slipped off my finger...

Stayed the night in Sandwich with our two children and a dog. Staff at the hotel (particularly the receptionist on duty) were very helpful and attentive to our every needs. The hotel really welcomed dogs and kids. Nice, spacious room with comfy beds; evening meal and breakfast very tasty. Sandwich is a lovely destination, full of cobbled alleyways and Dickensian...

Lovely little hotel in an great location. My wife and I stayed here recently to celebrate the end of 'dry January' - we wanted a hotel where we could eat, drink and lay in bed with the option to wonder about a small town which I think The Bell and Sandwich is very well suited for. Friday evening we ate...

Just spent two nights here and what a lovely hotel. The rooms were great, the Old Dining Room restaurant was excellent and a good quality and tasty breakfast. It was so nice to find a hotel run by friendly locals, we thought it was a family run place, but no, it's owned by a brewery! All credit to them for...

On a recent work trip I stayed here. The hotel was tastefully decorated with a homely feel. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very tasty, all in all a good place to stay. Will definitely consider staying here again if work brings me to Sandwich.

We stayed for 4 nights at The Bell Hotel in Sandwich and would have no hesitation in recommending this as a well run, well maintained hotel and very well situated when visiting this area of the Kent Coast. We ate in the bar two nights and the food was very very good, nothing complicated but well cooked, well presented and...

We visited the hotel for our 10 year anniversary. We had found a deal on a well known website for 2 nights B&B in a suite which was beautiful. The room was huge and very comfortable with beautiful views. Breakfast was the only slightly disappointing part, despite an OK buffet of cereal, pastries fruit etc, the cooked option wasn't great....

Set i n a picturesque town, the historic building hs been carefully maintained to provide luxurious accomodation with no cost spared to ensure guests' comfort. The bar and restaurant is pleasant. There are decent retaurants within walking distance. The room was very large with four poster bed, beautiful bathroom and plenty of seating and worktop in the room for the...

The staff were very attentive and looked after my two you ones (2 and 4) very well. Magda and Samuel in particular could not do enough and the receptionist who checked us in was very helpful (did not get a name). Food and service was excellent in the resturant.
