Lovely old pub on the seafront, full range of well-kept Shepherd Neame beers and extensive food menu - our venison pie; lamb and barley stew; and particularly the whole sea bass stuffed with chilli, garlic, ginger and lemon grass were delicious and all came with lots of lovely veg too. I noticed they do accommodation too, so am planning a...

Stayed here recently when visiting friends, gorgeous little b&b. Like a home from home. Stayed in the guest house which is connected to the pub but not so close that your on top of everything. Didn't get chance to eat here but the food smelt amazing and the atmosphere was very friendly. Already booked our return stay in June 2017...

This was booked on booking .com as a last minute get away and was a bed and breakfast deal. The Kings Head offers excellent home cooked food at excellent prices with friendly bar staff . There is a good selection of real ales and cider available . The guest house is Channel View a few doors away. The room was...

Arrived on the afternoon of the bank holiday Monday. Pub was in full swing with bands outside. Great community atmosphere, really buzzing and all very friendly. Spent two nights at the Kings Head. Room was great with a glorious view over the sea. We were blessed with wonderful weather, but Deal is a gem. Lovely high street shops, fantastic micro...

Mrs.Electric decided that we were going to spend the day in Deal for her birthday. It was an excellent choice. Our first stop was here. The pub hasn't changed a bit ( still adore it! ) . The gentleman who served us was friendly and helpful. And his colleague was attentive and professional . The boss was not in attendance...

One of the most colourful places I have visited . The flower boxes were adorned all over the building. Nice setting eating outside on a sunny day. Great variety of food to choose from and the service to the outside tables was great . You have to order at the bar though and get your drinks in there also. I...

I can only repeat the two most common statements made by people who spend time at the King's Head and those are that both the food and the staff are really really good. I must have encountered many staff over my years of eating and drinking here and they have always been exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food is also...

The pub was gorgeous, as was the food and the staff were very welcoming. Two things really put us off: 1. Although we booked a room in the pub with a seaview; we were given a room in the guest house next door. The room was on the ground floor and did have a seaview but it was impossible to...

I stayed here whilst visiting a client in Deal. Lovely evening meal - started with the squid and then a very filling fish pie. The pub is near the castle and pier so I had a walk round. Interesting history to deal going back to King Henry VIII. My room, a twin, was on the front overlooking the English Channel....
