We stayed in a lovely, twin, sea view room. It was spotlessly clean, nice bathroom and comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent (had good vegetarian options). We would not hesitate to book again. Good value, decent mid range hotel.

The lady who checked us in was helpful showing us to our room and letting us know the breakfast arrangements. We arrived at lunchtime and went straight out. On arriving back we found no heating on and went along to the pub to mention this on our way out again. Gentleman came along with us to check this out and...

I first visited this lovely pub about 17 years ago and I have been back a number of times since then. It has a really nice, relaxed atmosphere and there are little twinkly red lights on the ceiling, which gives it a welcome feel. It is really clean and the menu is excellent. I had the fish pie and my...

Never eaten here before, will definitely be eating here again. The young man behind the bar was very friendly and nice. It was pie week so a pie with veg and selection of chips/potatoes and a drink for £10. We chose a starter and for the main a pie and both were absolutely delicious. Definitely go here is your in...

We booked a room here for one night as we were walking from Ramsgate to Dover. Understanding we were staying in a pub and noise was likely, we did check when we booked that there was no live music in the bar, turned out this was true but there was live DJ ( which was not mentioned)! We were a...

A group of 4 friends stayed here in separate rooms for a golf break at the end of February. 2 of us stayed in rooms above the pub and 2 stayed in the Guest House next door, which is run by the Kings Head. We had a fantastic break and the Kings Head made the trip extremely enjoyable. The staff...

We stayed here for one night and it was ok. It's fairly cheap and it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is - a budget room above a pub. The bed was comfortable, the sheets and the bathroom were clean and the view was pretty, if you dont mind the random piece of wood that holds the...

We sooo enjoyed the beer, and the veggy cottage pie and assortment of veg was one of the very best vegetarian meals we've eaten in ages... The atmosphere was uber friendly with exemplary staff and loverleee locals who entertained us with baby, dogs and very amusing banter... We knew prior to arrival, this pub had high ratings however all depends...

After staying one evening in another B&B (the Waterfront Hotel - 100m walk from the Kings Head) we decided to stay on for one more night in pretty Deal, and treat ourselves to a little more (perceived) luxury by moving to the Kings Head. It cost 40£ more than our previous evening's accom and boasted larger rooms and better facilities,...

Went away for a 2 nights stay at the King's Head and had a great time! Turned up 1/2 hour before booking in and the helpful and friendly staff immediately helped us with parking options! We were helpfully advised to book for lunch as we could see the bar was getting very busy! After we parked the staff told us...
