Yarmouth is not large as you can walk to everywhere within 5 minutes - the businesses only survive because of the ferry terminal to the mainland. We needed to find somewhere to stay that evening. We asked at the The George Hotel but they wanted £325 for a room so we walked out. Jireh House is also a tea-room. The...

We didn;'t stay overnight, just visited here for a late afternoon meal. My wife wanted to eat in the small outdoor garden at the back of the building, with an apple tree overhead. The place has a cosy atmosphere and very friendly people. The menu is traditional pub food but homemade. I had the lasagne (with a large portion of...

Myself and my family visited Jireh tea rooms whilst visiting Yarmouth for the first time. The food was lovely, and the cakes are amazing! All home cooked and made which makes such a nice change. We were made to feel very welcome. Brilliant service, food and value for money. We look forward to a stay in the B&B next time...

Stayed for one night with 2 friends before walking from Yarmouth to Freshwater. Very pretty house with tearoom/restaurant. Attractively decorated rooms with very comfortable beds. We were in the loft room which was a little cramped but fine for one night. Good breakfast

Popped into this delightful tearoom for a cream tea. Offered either fruit or plain scones. We opted for the fruit which were warm and delicious with plenty of cream and jam. All the food is fresh and homemade of good quality. The people on the next table had individual shepherds pies with chips and salad which looked absolutely mouthwatering. This old...

We stayed here for one night over a hot summer weekend. It's fantastically located in the centre of Yarmouth, nicely decorated, friendly staff. We had a single room each, both were small but had all the facilities you need. The breakfast was very nice and served in their lovely little restaurant downstairs. I read previous reviews before going and yes,...
