This B&B is beautiful . We visited in the summer last year and everything was perfect. The rooms were a Victorian Style and wonderfully decorated. The food was out of sight with everything homemade from scratch. The gardens were well taken care of and we walked through them in awe. It was great to vacation somewhere that you were so...

Even though we came in the winter when the garden was all ready for surviving the cold, It was beautiful. Being a master gardener I realize that the best way to grow your perannials for the upcoming year is to not clip them back until spring. And the house is beautiful! We were pleasantly surprised to have choices at breakfast...

My husband and I stayed at the BnB a few times and every time Teresa was accommodating. We stayed at the end of the summer into the fall. We enjoyed our stay. We also understand that this house is very old, and on the historic registry, and that added to some of the charm of the place. If we wanted...

Myhusband and I stayed overnight in the Rose room. It was decorated beautifully in shades of reds and pinks with roses, hence the name. This room over looks the back yard. It has a bathroom across the hall, but it was our own bathroom. There was one other couple staying in the front room. We met them once and never...

While the house is beautiful with many unique features, it was not well-maintained. And the rooms were not completely cleaned or cared for. Though coffee machines were available in the halls, there were no utensils or condiments. The gardens was very overgrown with cigarette butts outside the back door. No keys available for individual rooms. We were strongly encouraged not...

Three couples (all friends & retired) booked the 3 rooms at the Housley House for Monday night into Tuesday; we arrived about 4:00pm & was greeted by our hostess Teresa before we were out of the car! She was more than accommodating to our every need. Some plans were changed in mid-stream & our hostess was very gracious. I booked...

This was my very first bed and breakfast experience and I will never return to a bed and breakfast again if this is the norm. Upon arrival, the grounds looked beautiful, but Teresa still had all her Christmas decorations out on the back porch and seemed very odd that the outside appearance hadn't been taken care of. Then, we were...

My wife and I stayed in the Rose room last summer. The gardens and house are beautiful (read the other posts here for more description), what I'm adding in this review is regarding the "Rose" in particular. The room is located in the back overlooking the garden. The bed is comfortable and overstuffed. The bathroom is not in the room,...

First the good, this is a beautiful place with immediate proximity to a small town that features great shops with very friendly people. It was nice being so close to the river for some romantic walks and the porch swing looked like it would be a treat on a warmer day. The garden was well kept and the Dillon room...

My plan was to stay in a B&B for one night for a quick break, and instead I found a Victorian mansion in a dream-like village with hosts that made me feel relaxed and welcomed. Don helped me carry my bags from the car and gave me the grand tour and history of the place. All of the rooms are...
