Wonderful, great room everything you would ever want, if you've forgotten it - it will be here. Ruth and Tim are very welcoming hosts who will help you in any way they can. And the breakfast well - perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Give it a try - you won't regret it,.

This is the second time I have stayed at The Barr, and I cannot recommend it more highly. I first stayed in the yellow (twin) room in 2014 when I visited with a friend and was excited to stay in the blue room (queen) recently. I even recommended The Barr to my parents, who will be staying there in a...

I have stayed here twice, and my partners has stayed on 6 occasions in 2015. This is a B&B with 2 large double rooms. The bedrooms have everything you could want but are not en-suite - the private bathroom is just across the landing, so not a problem. The Barr is the Herefordshire countryside, an old building that has been...

Stopped here for one night as a treat for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were made incredibly welcome by the owners and were welcomed with tea and home made banana cake. Yum! There was a decanter of complimentary cherry brandy in the room which was most welcome along with lovely thick robes and towels. I would not hesitate to recommend...

I searched for somewhere near Leominster for the recent Easter weekend as my wife and I where interested in visiting several of the local National Trust properties. The previous reviews convinced me to give the Barr a try, and what a wonderful weekend we had. Ruth and Tim where excellent hosts, from the very warm welcome (complimentary tea and cake)...

We originally were looking to stay elsewhere near Kingsland but due to unfavourable reviews for those places we decided to stay at the Barr with Tim and Ruth nearby. That was probably the best decision we had ever made. I can honestly say my wife and I have never ever been made to feel so welcome. We were in the...

We spent one night here in our travels through Herefordshire and felt really comfortable and cosseted by the very friendly owners and their well behaved dog. A tasty evening meal was served (highly recommended as the location is rural ) The room was comfortable and the whole place loved and cared for. Breakfast was beautifully presented and quite enough to...

Booked The Barr for a four night stay in May 2014. I wanted to do some family history research and my husband wanted to go cycling. What a find! Ruth and Tim were great hosts , very welcoming, treated us as friends and encouraged us to regard their home as our own for the duration of our stay. The Barr...

We booked this B&B to coincide with our tour of the Black & White Trail. Appropriately, Ruth and Tim have a black-and-white dog and a black-and-white cat. They also have a beautiful home whose origins date back to the 16th and a superb garden that has everything--fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, landscaping, architecture, colorful flowers, bold plants. Ruth serves the most...

A colleague and I stayed at The Barr for 3 nights. Ruth and Tim were excellent hosts and they kept a very warm and inviting establishment. The general decor of their house was lovely, with traditional exposed timber framework, a superb living room with log burning stove, lovely new bathroom and comfy and spacious bedroom. Breakfast was plentiful with cereals,...
