On the whole, this hotel was an ok place to stay. The room was small but had almost everything we needed and was quiet enough. The extra pillows in the wardrobe were decidely musty. Breakfast was the standard buffet arrangement and was a bit tired by the time we arrived and perhaps the quality wasn't all it could gave been.... More

Thank you for your review of Beales Hotel. I am sorry you were bothered by insects, I can genuinely say this is the first comment about pests ever in the ten years we have been running Beales Hotel. You spoke to our Deputy General Manager Kieran Wheeler, who was running a large breakfast function at the time - he apologises... More

My husband and I went to this hotel for my birthday. We intended to visit Hatfield House and then do some shopping at The Galleria shopping centre. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly, happy and helpful. We stayed in a standard room which was lovely, clean with some interesting artwork (which I believe was obtained form... Thank you so much for your lovely review of Beales Hotel. I am delighted that you had such a successful visit, only sorry that you didn't make it to Hatfield House in the end. It is definitely worth visiting some time. The artwork in your bedroom and the other 130 works of original modern art around the hotel are indeed... More

We stay in Hotels all the time around the UK and Europe, for business and pleasure, and I have to say our stay at Beales in Hatfield this month has been one of the best hotel stays I can think of in a long time. ALL the Staff were so welcoming and fabulously attentive to everyone throughout the whole stay,... More

Wow what a super review of Beales Hotel, thank you so much ! I think you have summarised in six words (Fabulous Staff, Great Food, Funky Room) what we are all about. As a very long established family business (eight generations and counting !), we have such a strong relationship with all the team, and many of the wonderful staff... More

My wife and I celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary with a lunch at Beales Hotel, Hatfield last weekend (21 September 2014). We considered it a great success, the food was superb, the service excellent, and our guests (over 100 of them) were complimentary in the extreme. I cannot praise the staff too highly, from the time we started arranging the... More

Its a nice modern hotel, with all the facilities you need. Staff are very nice and helpful, you can tell the owner is doing a great job on costumer satisfaction matters. Only downside is the standard bed size, is a bit to small for a couple and this was reflected on a bad night sleep, otherwise will have been all... More

Thank you for your kind review of Beales Hotel. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and that the staff looked after you so well ! The beds in all the contemporary double rooms are 5' Queen size Hypnos beds. For the huge 6' King size bed, just upgrade next time for a small extra amount to an Executive room,... More

I stayed one night at Beales in Hatfield, after arriving on a late long haul flight into Heathrow and in readiness for a long journey north in the morning. The hotel had ample parking, the entrance was bright, clean, modern looking and inviting. The girl on the reception desk was pleasant. I had a ground floor room which was both... More

Thank you for your review of Beales Hotel. I am glad you enjoyed your stay at the hotel, with a good nights sleep. We have a beautiful breakfast buffet full of local produce from the Hertfordshire area, but it is a fair comment and a good suggestion to add Eggs Benedict. We have a meeting next week on the subject... More

Recently returned from here where my husband and I stayed for a night. Fantastic, can not recommend enough, such a lovely stay. We arrived around 3pm and was swiftly and politely checked in, I had queries about the surrounding area and the receptionist was really helpful. Booked a two night stay to visit someone in the area and wasn't disappointed. There are cheaper and far less contemporary/modern options in the Hatfield/WGC area if you so wished, but I wanted a little treat - and a treat I got. This probably seems quite petty but staying in a hotel for a day or two all I really want is a comfortable room and a leisurely breakfast! Thank you for your very kind review of Beales Hotel in Hatfield, I am not sure if you are mistaking us for another hotel (perhaps our sister hotel West Lodge Park in Hadley Wood ?) as we do not have any beautiful grounds at Beales Hotel to speak of.
