Been here twice now in a few weeks the food is exceptional, a very welcoming environment. If you want good classic pub food at value for money prices this is the place to go, good portion sizes, attention to detail and home cooked puddings. Seriously can't fault anything Can't wait to go back

Valentine's evening !!! we went to the Roebuck Inn for a 80th birthday dinner about 40 people and the food and service was fabulous ! Had soup to start with a choice of turkey or beef for main and 4 or 5 dessert choices . I wouldn't normally choose a dessert but as they were homemade I thought I would...

Excellent food friendly helpful staff great place would highly recommend the Sunday dinner. We had to wait for a few minutes just until the owner set up a table for us which allowed us to have a drink in the bar and speak to some of the locals. I would suggest booking as we arrived quite late in the day.

Local village pub with an extremely warm welcome from Landlord and all staff ! what a refreshing change in this world of hustle and bustle. Mom and I went on Sunday for a lunch - not booked but we got a table after whimpering a little & we were so thrilled by the experience of great warm atmosphere and excellent...

My wife and I called at this pub for lunch as it appeared to be a good place to stop on our journey. We were not disappointed. The landlord was very friendly and had a brief conversation with us about the pub, the various drinks and food that were available. Although we only had a sandwich to eat it was...

Let us not miss that a restaurant/dining pub should be about the food. The Food at the Roebuck is very good and locally sourced. Ample portions and a good selection of vegetables [we like our veg!]. But ...... the menu [for Sunday lunch] is not vast; the Roebuck's primary clientele [for Sunday lunch] are the grey pound and these people...

Called in early on a Saturday night to a very friendly welcome and was served promptly. We were seated at a table order taken and served without delay. Staff very friendly and attentive and a lovely steak done just how we like it. Very impressed.

We stopped here for lunch. I must admit we had an amazing meal my husband ordered the steak, and he said it had been a long time since he'd had a steak that was as good. High praise from him, so must have been exceptional. What was also refreshing was the salad that came with the meals was really fresh....

Myself and a couple of friends stopped in to the Roebuck Inn for a 'get torgether' meal. The service was super friendly and the food and drinks arrived without delay, the meals were cooked well and the drinks were served promptly. The only gripe that I have is the price of the meals, I feel that if they were a...
