Stayed here for two nights a couple of weeks ago. We booked after reading the mostly good reviews but were disappointed by both the food & the room. We expected a fairly small basic room for the price but were taken aback by the so-called shower room. The size of a wardrobe the toilet was right up against the door...

Hi we are sorry you found your stay disappointing. We have had the pub just over a year now and are continuing to try and improve. The rooms are next on our list and we will be starting to renovate very soon. Kind regards The Chase Inn

We stayed here last weekend. Our room was clean and simply furnished, functional rather than luxurious. We ate in the restaurant that evening and it was very good indeed. We had some well kept local beer and lovely service, the garlic mushrooms in a cream sauce were delicious, followed by terrific rump steak with pepper sauce and a lovely caramel...

Fab and affordable. This family run inn is a work in progress, as the owners have only had it for just over a year or so. So the rooms are currently basic but fine and the price reflects this, if you compare pricing in the area. The rooms are being renovated and if they end up anywhere near the standards...

We visited the chase with friends for a Sunday lunch as they said how good it was. We Wernt disappointed. On arrival the lovely friendly welcome from the staff was super and there was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in he pub itself. We stayed for one night. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Our room was tidy, clean and comfortable. We had a little dinner there and our daughter had her own Menu card with a picture to draw and some pencils. The food was very good and the breakfast was delicious! If you want to go somewhere nice but not...

We called in here with the two small grandchildren en route from Wales to Wiltshire looking for lunch, coming across it by chance. The welcome was very friendly, with no problem accommodating the grandchildren, who were immediately brought a pot of crayons and a colouring sheet each to keep them amused when we'd chosen our table. The menu was mostly...

Stayed at this pub B&B on 1st July '16. Greeted cheerfully by the land lady who showed us to our room(1). It was small and a bit frayed round the edges but it was clean and the bed very comfortable. Any shortcomings were over ridden by the food in the bar that evening..brilliant! It was a very cheerful public house...

Having visited the Chase Inn a couple of years ago we had no qualms about booking it again. At the time of booking we were told the Chase had changed hands so it would be interesting too see what else had changed. Not much as it transpired - always a good thing on a second visit! Our hosts were very...

Really lovely stay here and they are very dog friendly too. Good breakfast and service. We had 2 rooms (single and twin) and both were good and very reasonable, plus they do not charge extra for the dog like many places. Good family run place, super friendly and very helpful. We will be staying again for sure when next visiting...
